About Reshma Shah McDonough, OD

Dr. Shah McDonough achieved a Bachelor of science degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Purdue University. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During her time there she also completed a second bachelor’s degree in Vision science and an internship with honors at the Tianjin Medical University eye clinic in Tianjin, China. Active in the professional community, Dr. Shah McDonough holds a membership with the Indiana Optometric Association. She is fluent in Gujarati, a dialect of India. Practicing a healthy lifestyle, Dr. Shah McDonough enjoys traveling, gardening, and hiking. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband and 2 sons. Dr. Shah McDonough enjoys being part of the Progressive Eyecare team and helping her community.

Certifications/Awards: Fellowship, American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Thompson is passionate about eye care and is excited to help you with any of your eye care needs. She has extensive knowledge of ocular disease and management and enjoys fitting patients with contact lenses. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Thompson loves spending time with her family, being active, and traveling.

Timothy Birtwhistle, OD

About Timothy Birtwhistle, OD

Dr. Birtwhistle is a graduate of DePauw University, with a BA in Biology. He then completed an MBA at Indiana Wesleyan University, and graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Optometry. He is a past president of the Central Indiana Optometric Society, and enjoys working with people from all walks of life. He especially enjoys working with specialty contact lenses to help with vision improvement with disease and in helping with Ortho-K lenses to aid in the slowing of myopia. Outside of work, Dr. Birtwhistle enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, playing music, and cooking.

About Samantha Tubolino, OD

I earned my undergraduate degree in Biology from Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC and graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. I completed externships in both ocular disease and contact lenses, including rotations through various MyEyeDr locations and at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center in NC. I also completed a rotation in low vision and vision rehabilitation at the Feinbloom Low Vision Center at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. I received an award for clinical excellence from the Low Vision and Vision Rehabilitation Center which was presented at graduation. My hobbies and interests include spending time with friends and family, cooking/baking, traveling, and playing soccer.

Faith Abraham, OD

I was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in South Florida. I earned my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University before completing my Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University. After graduation, I was accepted into a competitive residency program in Austin, Texas, where I specialized in Vision Rehabilitation with a focus on Vision Therapy and neuro-visual rehabilitation. This advanced training gave me the opportunity to work with complex visual conditions and gain expertise in helping patients achieve meaningful improvements in their day-to-day lives. Ichose optometry because I am passionate about providing meaningful healthcare and helping patients optimize their vision to improve their quality of life. My goal is to deliver care that makes a lasting difference, allowing patients to see and experience the world more clearly. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with family.

Elisabeth Kim, OD

About Elisabeth Kim, OD

Dr. Kim earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1992. She has been serving the communities of Woodbridge and Manassas for the past 21 years. Her area of special interest is primary care. Dr. Kim’s thorough comprehensive eye exam includes a full eye health evaluation that checks for conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, age related macular degeneration, and systemic health related eye conditions.
