About Gina Kubesh, OD

Dr. Gina Kubesh brings warmth, dedication, and a fresh perspective to St. John’s Eye Associates. Born and raised in a small town in western Maine, she learned early on the impact a caring optometrist can have. Dr. Kubesh earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New England before completing her Doctor of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University. During her studies, she was recognized for her academic achievements as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa. With roots in a community where healthcare was often limited, Dr. Kubesh values the role of an optometrist not just as a clinician, but as a trusted presence in patients’ lives. She is committed to building long-term relationships with patients, offering care that is as genuine and personal as it is clinically excellent. She enjoys seeing a variety of patients and helping each one feel confident in their vision and overall eye health. After graduating, Dr. Kubesh moved to St. Johns with her longtime boyfriend and their cat, Iris.
