About Paije Hostetter, OD

Dr. Paije Hostetter graduated with honors as a Doctor of Optometry from the Kentucky College of Optometry in 2021. She was raised in North Jackson, OH and attended Jackson Milton High School before earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Youngstown State University in 2017. Dr. Hostetter’s primary goal is to provide the highest quality clinical care as possible, while building lasting relationships with her patients. When Dr. Hostetter isn’t caring for her patients, she enjoys a friendly game of basketball or volleyball, watching movies, and spending time with her husband, Bruce.

Brad Bloomberg, OD

About Brad Bloomberg, OD

Dr. Brad Bloomberg graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1988 with a Doctor of Optometry Degree. He received his bachelor’s degree from Hiram College in 1977 and completed an additional bachelor’s degree in visual sciences at the Illinois College of Optometry in 1985. Dr. Bloomberg is a 2nd generation optometrist. His father, Dr. Cecil Bloomberg, started the first Bloomberg Eye Clinic in the Youngstown area in 1978. Dr. Brad Bloomberg currently serves as Chief Professional Officer and medical director for Bloomberg Eyecare in Ohio, and Riverfront Eyecare and Primary Eyecare in Michigan. Dr. Bloomberg resides in Boardman, Ohio, with his wife, Judy.

Matthew McCourt, OD

About Matthew McCourt, OD

“My fundamental interest in optometry was rooted based on healthcare. That interest grew into a passion for providing patients with optimal visual health with the goal of improving their quality of life. I believe that individualized care, coupled with clear communication, will not only help each patient reach their visual goals but also build a trustworthy doctor-patient relationship. I truly enjoy getting to know each patient I meet and look forward to working with anyone who I see for their next eye exam. Outside of work, I like exploring state and national parks, camping, exercising and playing golf.” Dr. McCourt grew up in rural Alberta, Canada, and graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada, where he received an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. Following undergrad, he travelled south of the border after being accepted into the Arizona College of Optometry. Dr. McCourt has experience providing high and low complexity exams for patients in several specialty clinics, such as Dry Eye, Myopia Control, Prosthetic Contact Lenses, Ophthalmology, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and Post-Operative Care. Dr. McCourt also had the privilege of managing and treating ocular diseases for the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs in northern Florida. Since then, Dr. McCourt has decided to return to Arizona to continue his optometric career.

Jamie Samson, OD

About Jamie Samson, OD

Dr. Jamie Samson grew up in Glenview, Illinois and received her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois in 2007. In 2011, she received her doctorate from Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Samson moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2011 to complete her residency at the Southern AZ VA Healthcare Systems in Low Vision & Primary Care. Knowing the importance of regular comprehensive eye exams, Dr. Samson devotes herself to providing thorough primary care eye exams to patients as they age. When she has time off, Dr. Samson enjoys hiking, softball, camping and spending time with her wife, young children and rescue dog.

Trevor Gotthardt, OD

About Trevor Gotthardt, OD

Dr. Trevor J. Gotthardt graduated with honors from the Rochester Institute of Technology, earning a degree in Biomedical Science. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, in 2025. During his graduate training, Dr. Gotthardt completed a diverse range of clinical externships, including Lynn Community Health Center, Lahey Medical Center, the Hudson Valley VA, and EyeCare Associates of Connecticut. These experiences provided him with extensive training in ocular disease management and binocular vision disorders. Dr. Gotthardt practices full-scope primary care optometry. He offers comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, diabetic eye evaluations, and is dedicated to providing the highest quality of refractive and medical care. Outside the clinic, Dr. Gotthardt enjoys spending his free time outdoors. He is an avid hiker, piano player, and vintage motorcycle enthusiast.

Dr. Dorothy Lea earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry at MBKU and holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Maryland. With experience practicing in California, Texas, and Maryland, she brings a well-rounded and thoughtful approach to patient care. Now back in her hometown, Dr. Lea is proud to serve the community she grew up in. She’s passionate about helping patients achieve their visual potential and enjoys educating them about their eye health. Her warm, communicative style makes her a trusted partner in vision care. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her dog, exploring cafés and new cities, reading books, and nurturing her curiosity about the universe.

Hobbies/Interests: Ceramics including the creation of bonsai pots, functional ware, glaze chemistry and atmospheric firing, Bird hunting, Fishing, Traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.

Melody Amador, OD

About Melody Amador, OD

Dr. Melody Amador was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and first moved to the DFW area for college. She attended the University of Dallas where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in Physics. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Amador believes in quality eye care for all. Her experience includes a community clinic in downtown Dallas working with underserved populations and furthering her experience in ocular disease management. Dr. Amador takes pride in providing personalized and compassionate care to each patient. In her free time she enjoys painting, reading, and spending time with family.

Jeff McMillian, OD

About Jeff McMillian, OD

Dr. McMillian is a 1994 graduate of the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis TN where he attended as a US Army officer under the Health Professions Scholarship Program. After graduation he served as a Captain and Optometric Physician in the US Army. He served in Germany, Bosnia, and the US before leaving the Army to pursue private practice. Dr. McMillian founded McMillian Eye Care in Atoka TN in 2002. He enjoys the outdoor life with his wife Carlyn and son Brady.
