About Margaret Harrington, OD

Dr. Harrington's passion for helping people to see their best started at the young age of 10, when her grandfather lost most of his vision to diabetic retinopathy. She began working as an assistant in an Optometrist's office at 16 years old and throughout her education worked in every office role. Since graduating Optometry school, Dr. Harrington has held several positions including private practice owner, corporate affiliations and at Veterans Affairs Medical Centers. She has developed programs in Telehealth, student education and the first residency program at the Erie VAMC. Dr. Harrington's commitment to her patients and staff is recognized by the many awards she has received in clinical care and administration. Dr. Harrington loves spending time with her three children and Goldendoodle, “Salty Dawg.” Her and her family love going to the beach, boating and having fun in the sun. She has recently started to learn to golf so she can keep up with her children on the golf course! In her down time she likes reading and photography. She shares the love of peanut butter with her Goldendoodle and can never turn down a Reeses!

Robert Leitner, OD

About Robert Leitner, OD

Undergraduate education; Carson Newman College, Jefferson City, TN BA degree. Southern College of Optometry Memphis, TN; BS degree and Doctorate 1982, residency in 1983. Inducted as Fellow in American Academy of Optometry in 1991.Professional career; taught at SCO 1983 to1987, private practice Okmulgee, OK 1987 to 1996. Practicing in Albany, GA since 1996, Dr. Leitner and his wife have made it their home. They married in 1982 the day after his graduation from SCO. They have three grown children and are active in Greenbriar Church and Tony’s GYM. His favorite activities are lap swimming and anything related to cars. She instructs various forms of group exercise and fitness.

Undergraduate Education: North Carolina State University. Optometry School: University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Optometry. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? By providing full-scope medical comprehensive eye care and addressing each patient’s individual ocular and visual needs. This includes pediatrics, ocular disease, contact lenses and diabetic eye care. Hobbies/Interests: weightlifting, reading, and spending time with family.

Jeffrey Tidswell, OD

About Jeffrey Tidswell, OD

Dr. Tidswell is a native of southern Colorado having grown up in Lamar, CO. He received his undergraduate degree from Adams State University in Alamosa, CO and graduated with Honors from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. He has provided eyecare to the southern Colorado area since 1984 and has lived in Colorado Springs since 2005. Dr. Tidswell loves to spend time with his wife and 3 grown daughters who reside in Colorado Spring, Alaska, and South Carolina. Away from the office, he enjoys traveling and being with his family.

Michael Onyon, OD

About Michael Onyon, OD

Dr. Michael Onyon has practiced optometry for 33 years. He has served as a board member of the New Hampshire Optometric Association as well as the New Hampshire state liaison for the American Optometric Society. Dr. Onyon stays current with the latest advances in optometry and the optical industry, regularly attending conferences throughout the country. He is a certified orthokeratology practitioner with WAVE and Paragon. Other special interests include treatment of dry eye conditions.
