Dr. Michelle Gambacorta received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut. She received her Doctorate of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Gambacorta provides outstanding care to patients of all ages in a primary care setting with emphasis on ocular disease. Outside the office, she is spending time with her family enjoying Buffalo snow storms in the winter and boating on Lake Erie in the summer. Go Bills!

Dr. Punit Bhakta provides comprehensive vision care including routine exams and the treatment of various types of eye disease. He is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association. Dr. Bhakta grew up in Biloxi, Mississippi. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from THE University of Georgia. He earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Optometry. Dr. Bhakta completed a Residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive surgery with Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta, Georgia, where he learned to diagnose and treat rare forms of eye disease in one of the premier ophthalmology clinics in the southeast. In his free time, Dr. Bhakta enjoys rooting for the DAWGS each fall during college football season, playing golf, and enjoying different types of food. He currently resides in Smryna, with his wife Divya and daughters Nyla and Liya.

Dr. Downey received her Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. A Hamburg resident, she has helped countless patients with their vision care needs for many years and has extensive experience in virtually every area of optometry, and provides each patient with personalized attention. Dr. Gambacorta studied at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA where he earned his Doctor of Optometry. He has treated numerous patients in 30+ years as an eye health specialist, from children to seniors, and is highly regarded by his colleagues for his knowledge and experience. Undergraduate Education: DeSales University B.S. Biology cum laude Professional: Pennsylvania College of Optometry O.D. with honors I have been in private practice for over 40 years in Fairless Hills providing comprehensive and medical eyecare. I have a particular interest in glaucoma, diabetic and cataract management in addition to children’s vision and contact lenses. A member of the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the National Glaucoma Society, I have been honored many times as one of America’s Top Optometrists. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, concerts, weekends at the beach, boating, jet skiing and walking my dog Rudy.

Dr. Joseph Lutche has over 25 years of experience providing eye care in Middle Tennessee. He graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 1997 after attending Memphis State University. After operating a solo clinic for over a decade, Dr. Lutche spent the next several years traveling to schools across Tennessee to provide vision care to our students. He is excited about again practicing locally with new and established patients, alike. Dr. Lutche provides comprehensive eye care including prescribing glasses and contact lenses, diabetic eye care, and evaluation and management of dry eye, glaucoma, and other ocular issues. Outside the office, Dr. Lutche enjoys playing soccer, hearing live music, trying Nashville’s new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Nusrat Jahan received her bachelor’s degree in pharmacology from Stony Brook University. She pursued her Doctorate at the State of New York College of Optometry. She has completed various clinical rotations to expand her skill set, including rotations in ocular disease at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, and in specialty contact lenses at the University Eye Center in Midtown Manhattan. Dr. Jahan provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages with various ocular conditions. She strives to listen wholeheartedly to meet the needs of his patients and give them the family-like experience they deserve. Outside the office, Dr. Jahan enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Reshma John received her doctorate of optometry from the MCPHS School of Optometry after completing her undergraduate education at Converse University with a B.S. in Biology. She is a member of the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. Dr. John enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and son.
