Dr. Flores is a Kansas Native with a bachelors in Public Health Nutrition from Kansas State University and her Doctorate of Optometry from University of the Incarnate word in San Antonio. Her ability to be bilingual in Spanish and English helps her better serve her patients and she hopes to continue serving the Latino communities. Her focus has been to pursue her interests in ocular disease including dry eye, research, innovative technology and education to ensure that patients in her community have access to it. She also uses social media to reach her community even further. She uses the platform to educate, engage and minimize the gap between eye care and the beauty industry with a Latina flare added to it of course. In her free time Dr. Flores enjoys traveling, reading her Bible, doing yoga, playing piano, spending time with her family, and eating all the delicious food the world has to offer.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in biology from State University of New York in Oneonta, NY, Dr. Kristina Skoljarev earned a Doctor of Optometry, from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, Massachusetts. Dr. Skoljarev provides a specialized course of treatment for each patient, combining expert application of medical and optical techniques to seek the best possible outcome for each patient. When not treating patients, Dr. Skoljarev loves spending free time with family and catching up with friends. She loves going back to Croatia, where most of her family still lives, to keep up with her cultural heritage. She is organized, confident, focused, and very empathetic to her patients to make sure they feel cared for both medically and mentally.

Dr. Stefanie Fernandez was born and raised in Westerly, RI before moving to North Carolina where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Elon University. After living in Durham, NC and working as a DNA lab technologist, Dr. Fernandez decided she wanted to help people in a more personal way. She then moved to South Florida to pursue her Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University and graduated as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. In her spare time, Dr. Fernandez enjoys exploring new places with her husband and spoiling their pet tortoise, Reggie.

I love helping people, and enjoy knowing that I can make a difference for my patients while doing what I love. I’ve enjoyed being a part of the community, from being a VBS volunteer at church to just running into patients at the grocery store. I can help patients live their best lives by being a good listener and taking care of all their visual and eye health needs. Hobbies/Interests: We love the mountains and being able to go hiking and kayaking. We enjoy watching my daughter run cross country and track.

Dr. Nguyen is a local New Orleanian who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana. She then attended Nova College of Optometry in South Florida where she received her Bachelor of Vision Science and doctorate degree. Dr. Nguyen believes that vision is essential for special moments that we cherish, as well as activities that we go about daily.
