About Brooke Major, OD

Dr. Brooke Major earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology–Chemistry from Saint Joseph’s College before completing a Master of Science in Precision Medicine at Midwestern University. Building on this strong scientific foundation, Dr. Major pursued a Doctor of Optometry degree at the Chicago College of Optometry at Midwestern University, where they developed a passion for patient-centered care, ocular disease management, and advancing the profession through leadership and service. Throughout optometry school, Dr. Major distinguished themselves through exceptional involvement in professional organizations. They were honored as the 2023–2024 Trustee of the Year for the American Optometric Student Association and inducted into the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society for the 2024–2025 year. In 2025, they received the Excellence in Service to Optometry Organizations award at Chicago College of Optometry, recognizing their commitment to enhancing the student experience and advocating for the future of optometry. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Major enjoys staying active through hiking, exercise, and yoga. They also love reading and baking, activities that bring balance and creativity into their daily life. Dr. Major looks forward to providing compassionate, evidence-based eye care and building lasting relationships with patients in their community.

Dr. Tracey Boss is a highly experienced optometrist with over 25 years of dedicated clinical practice. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry and completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University. Dr. Boss specializes in pediatric eye care and neuro-optometry, providing advanced, compassionate care to patients with complex visual and neurological conditions. Her clinical expertise and commitment to the profession led to her appointment to both the Maryland State Board of Optometry and the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, where she has contributed to shaping high standards in eye-care practice and licensure. A proud Maryland resident, Dr. Boss enjoys living and working in the community she serves, and cherishes time spent with her family. She is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve their best possible vision and eye health.

Victoria Fairchild, OD

About Victoria Fairchild, OD

Dr. Fairchild was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma to George and Sheila Rahme and has two sisters: Ginny, Stillwater and Dawn, Oklahoma City. Dr. Fairchild attended Tulsa University and Oklahoma State University to earn her B.S. in Speech Pathology. She married Matthew Fairchild in 2008 and has been blessed with two children; George (2009) and Rahme (2012). She loves being a Mom, spending time with her family and friends, and travel. Dr. Fairchild graduated with honors from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in May 2000. She then chose to further her education by working with John Reifschneider, D.O. in Leavenworth, Kansas. While working for Dr. Reifschneider she was exposed to the medical aspects of optometry. She observed numerous LASIK procedures, retinal pathologies, cataract surgeries, and glaucoma treatments. Dr. Fairchild also practiced primary care optometry by fitting glasses and contact lenses and performing routine diabetic, glaucoma, and cataract evaluations. Wanting to return to her Oklahoma roots, Dr. Fairchild settled in Tulsa in late 2001 and purchased a practice, now known as Optique Professional Eye Care, PLLC in 2002. She utilized all the experiences and skills mentioned above to grow this practice as well as maintain wonderful long-term professional relationships with her patients and their families. Dr. Fairchild cares for and considers her patients to be like her family. In early 2014, her husband, Matthew, took a new position in Oklahoma City and they moved their family to Edmond. She has been with Hefner Eye Care since 2015 and looks forward to continuing to help her My Eye Doctor patients with their vision and ocular health needs.

Kimberly Hefner-Poe, OD

About Kimberly Hefner-Poe, OD

Dr. Hefner received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in May 1991. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business from Oklahoma City University. Dr. Hefner completed her training with an emphasis in ocular disease at Hummel Eye Associates and the Vision Education Foundation in Oklahoma City, OK, where she worked closely with corneal specialists and cataract surgeons in secondary and tertiary eye care settings. She is a clinician at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation’s Sjogren’s Clinic, where she provides diagnosis, treatment, and clinical assistance in the research of Sjogren’s, a chronic autoimmune disease. She is the State of Oklahoma’s spokesperson for InfantSee program, a national program designed to educate parents on the importance of routine eye exams for infants and prevent undiagnosed eye health problems by performing free eye exams for children under 12 months of age. She is a frequent lecturer on the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye disease as well as the InfantSee program. Dr. Hefner has served on the Board of Directors of Prevent Blindness, Oklahoma, on the Oklahoma City University Alumni Board of Directors and the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. She is dedicated to her specialty in ocular surface disease and to providing quality and compassionate eye care to her patients.

About Jamie Brosof, OD

Dr. Jamie J. Brosof graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 2018 as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honors society. She previously received her Bachelor of Science Summa Cum Laude from the University of Rhode Island. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the Bucks Montgomery Optometric Society. Dr. Jamie is proud to provide comprehensive optometric services to the Roxborough neighborhood. When not providing eye care, Dr. Jamie enjoys reading and writing fantasy novels, singing, and going to the gym.

Dr. Cailyn Strupek, originally from Ashburn, Virginia, completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Chemistry from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry where she was named to the Clinical Dean’s List. She completed her clinical rotations at clinics in the local Chicago suburbs, Charleston, SC, and at the Providence, RI Veterans Hospital. Dr. Strupek enjoys primary eye care with an emphasis in contact lens fitting, dry eye, and ocular disease treatment and management. Dr. Strupek currently resides in Old Town, Alexandria where you can find her enjoying the foodie scene or on the waterfront running with her dog, Carla.
