Dr. Angela Cho earned her Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she developed a strong foundation in human biology and the health sciences. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Dr. Cho is a U.S. Air Force veteran and has over 10 years of clinical experience. She was recognized with the Trusted Care Hero Award for her excellence in patient care and dedication to service. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors gardening and hiking, as well as relaxing with video games or movies with family.

Dr. Gordon grew up in Plantation. He graduated from Nova High School in 1990 and then attended the University of Florida in Gainesville. He continued his studies at Nova Southeastern College of Optometry where he graduated in 2000. After working for 2 prominent ophthalmologists in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, Dr. Gordon worked in corporate optometry for 8 years building 2 successful practices. This combination of diverse environments covered the spectrum from LASIK and complex surgical cases to contact lens fittings for Keratoconus and routine eye exams. This allows him a unique perspective of the field and, with his passion for exceptional health care, he continually strives to make the experience for his patients as memorable as possible. Dr. Gordon currently lives in Cooper City. He has 2 children and when he is not working, he enjoys a very active lifestyle including wake surfing, scuba diving, snowboarding, and jiu jitsu. His daughter plays travel soccer and his son is working on his black belt in jiu jitsu.

Dr. Serena McArthur earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in Health Science Studies with honors and a Biology minor from Baylor University. In 2024, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. During her time at SCO, Dr. McArthur loved being involved in both optometric and local communities by serving as leadership in multiple academic and service focused organizations - including being awarded Student Ambassador of the Year for her class. Following graduation, Dr. McArthur completed a residency in primary care and ocular disease at BronxCare Health Hospital System in New York. Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. McArthur enjoys traveling, attending local city events, coffee, and reading for leisure.

Certifications/Awards: Maryland Young Optometrist of the Year in 2002, and Optometrist of the Year in 2007, and a certificate for holistic health coach in 2014. Hobbies/Interests: Gardening, herbalism, and crafts. I have also been in the profession for 30 years and love spending time with patients, listening to them, educating them about their conditions, and tailoring their prescriptions to fit their specific needs.

Dr. Mariel Mata earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey, and went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. During her clinical training, she gained extensive experience in ocular disease, contact lenses, pediatric optometry, and myopia management. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Optometry and holds licenses to practice in both New Jersey and Texas. Beyond optometry, Dr. Mata enjoys reading, traveling, exploring new cuisines, and spending time with her family. She is dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate eye care for patients of all ages.
