About Renee Pogrebneak, OD

Dr. Renee Pogrebneak earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Millersville University in 2022 in connected 3+4 program through Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO), where she went to graduate with a Doctorate in Optometry in 2025. Originally from New Jersey, she has worked in an optometric office for almost 10 years since she was 16, beginning as an optical technician and receptionist before she completed optometry school. Throughout her clinical training, she completed externships in ocular disease, primary care, and contact lens clinics, including a rotation at the Lyons Veterans Affairs Medical Center in NJ. There, she developed significant expertise in the diagnosis and management of conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and low vision. She received recognition of honors during her externship rotations due to her clinical excellence, passion, and commitment to providing upmost quality in optometric care. Dr. Pogrebneak is dedicated to and qualified in both medical and routine eye care. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Optometric Association. For three years in a row, she was a recipient of the Leslie Mintz Scholarship for exceptional talent, academic excellence, and leadership. Outside of her profession, she enjoys spending time at the beach, painting, and traveling to new places! She is excited to begin this next chapter of her life as a new resident of Delaware.

Stephen Planchet, OD

About Stephen Planchet, OD

Dr. Stephen Planchet, O.D., F.A.A.O.Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Planchet is a 1996 graduate of New England College of Optometry. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He served in the U.S. Army and was promoted to the rank of Major within eight years of service. His military awards include a Meritorious Service Medal and 3 Army Commendation Medals. Dr. Planchet and his wife, Marcela, have three children: Nicolas, John Paul, and Eva Marie. “I care about people. This profession allows me to work with people, improve their lives, and build long-lasting relationships. I have always aspired to be in a profession that gives back to the community and helps improve people's lives. I strive to be a caring, family-oriented optometrist.”

Shawna Lehmann, OD

About Shawna Lehmann, OD

Dr. Shawna Lehmann is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist in the state of Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Redlands in Southern California. She went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at Marshall B. Ketchum University. During her education, Dr. Lehmann conducted research for the National Eye Institute at the University of Houston College of Optometry. During her research, she was introduced to the Hill Country of Texas and fell in love with the region. It took a few years, but she relocated with her family as soon as she could! Dr. Lehmann is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society, a lifetime member of the Omega Delta Optometric Fraternity, and a member of the Ocular Wellness and Nutrition Society. Dr. Lehmann has a special interest in nutrition and its role in maintaining eye health and preventing eye disease. She loves to spread the word on the importance of UV protective eye wear and the effects of good nutrition on ocular health. Dr. Lehmann has over 23 years experience in caring for patients and treating conditions such as diabetic eye disease, cataracts, eye infections, glaucoma, styes, dry eye, inflammation of the eye, and retinal conditions, including macular degeneration. She enjoys getting to know her patients and caring for all of their eye wear and eye care needs. Dr. Lehmann and her husband, Peter, are raising four sons, four very energetic and curious sons. As a family, they enjoy movies, exploring and traveling, and spending time on the river.

Jenny Fan, OD

About Jenny Fan, OD

Dr. Jenny Fan is a dedicated optometrist with a strong foundation in both clinical and academic optometry. She completed her undergraduate education in Optometry at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. Dr. Fan has a particular interest in specialty contact lenses, including orthokeratology (ortho-k), scleral lenses, and myopia control. She is passionate about providing tailored vision solutions for patients with complex needs and helping to manage progressive myopia in children and young adults. She is also experienced in managing a variety of ocular conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic eye exams, and other chronic eye diseases. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Fan enjoys expressing her creativity through pottery and unwinding with a good drama series.

Catherine Curbelo, OD

About Catherine Curbelo, OD

Dr. Curbelo received her undergraduate education from MCPHS in Boston, MA She earned her bachelor’s degree in premedical and health studies with a minor in business. Dr. Curbelo attended MCPHS in Worcester, MA for Optometry school and graduated in the spring of 2025. Dr. Curbelo’s interests include spending time with her husband, reading, and watching hockey.

Dr. Vardiman earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Arcadia University in 2021 and in 2025 graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Throughout her clinical training, she completed externships in both ocular disease and contact lens clinics, including a rotation at the Lyons Veterans Affairs Medical Center in NJ. There, she developed significant expertise in the diagnosis and management of conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and low vision. Her clinical excellence was recognized with honors during her externship rotations. Dr. Vardiman is passionate about both medical and routine eye care, and takes particular interest in Ocular disease and building lasting relationships with her patients. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Optometric Association. Outside of her profession, she enjoys spending time with her dog and participating in group fitness classes. She is excited to begin this next chapter of her life as a new resident of Boston.
