The reason I became an optometrist is: I saw how much vision loss impacts a person’s life with family members with different ocular conditions. I was amazed that an eye exam can show signs of systemic issues like high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes even before patients realize it is an issue. My favorite part of helping my patients is: I love finding new ways to help patients with visual and ocular health needs. My goal is to see a patient smile when we find a new technology that can make everyday life better. In my spare time, I enjoy: I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. I also enjoy golfing, hiking, and gardening.

Dr. Baisden has been practicing in the metro Milwaukee area for many years. He has experience in all aspects of eye care, and a kind caring chair-side manner. He, along with his wife, Amy, and son, Jacob enjoy going to sporting events, golfing, and fishing. He knew he wanted to practice Optometry at the young age of 12, and he knows he made the right decision! The reason I became an optometrist is: I really enjoy going to vision therapy as a child. When I was 7 years old, I would have problems seeing double after reading awhile. I was amazed after a few months of training, not only did my reading improved, but I was no longer getting headaches after reading for a long period of time. I knew when I became older that I wanted to be a doctor and help children and adults achieve their vision goals as well. My favorite part of helping my patients is: to explain things clearly so my patients can be part of their treatment plan. There are a lot of options in medicine today that we didn't have in the past. I want to make sure my patients understand the options, so we can select the best treatment for them. In my spare time, I enjoy: walking and biking with my husband and two kids. And this last year, e learning for school with my 3rd and 5th graders. It's been challenging and rewarding all at the same time.
