What drives your passion for optometry? At the age of 12, I received my first pair of contact lenses. I was amazed by the great vision, freedom, and boost of self-esteem they provided. Hobbies/Interests: rooting for my two son’s sport teams and volunteering to aid in preparing team meals.

What drives your passion for optometry? As a glasses wearer since the age of two, I have experienced the benefits of quality eyecare. By taking the time to identify my patients’ needs and providing solutions, I can help patients live their best lives. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? A transformational eyecare experience means providing a high level of care that exceeds all expectations, giving each of my patients the best eye exam they have ever had. How are you impacting your local community? I love being the neighborhood optometrist, taking care of the needs of the families in the community where I live. I love it when I hear kids at a school pickup tell their friends, “That’s my eye doctor!” It doesn’t get much better than that. Hobbies/Interests: I love spending time with my family, doing DIY house projects, playing instruments (hand drums and didgeridoo), and napping.

By incorporating the patient’s hobbies with their glasses or contact prescriptions. Someone who golfs frequently may need a little different prescription than someone who sews. When providing comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, I always given them all their options and introduce them to the newest technology in the field. I also treat all with equality and patience. Ultimately, I also hope to inspire children to become pediatric optometrists. Hobbies/Interests: Shopping, spending time with family and friends, watching movies and shows.
