Dr. Cove moved to Western PA after obtaining a Specialization Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Developmental Biology from the University of Alberta, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Portland, Oregon. Upon graduation she received three awards of distinction in Practice Management, Clinical Ethics and Exceptional Research. Dr. Cove has a particular interest in Sports Vision, and has previously partnered with the Nike Inc. Research and Design Team. Dr. Cove spends her time with her husband, two children and dog when she is not in the office. She is a sports enthusiast with a love of hockey and swimming

My passion for optometry is driven by the desire and joy I get from helping patients. I help patients to live their best lives by listening to their concerns, big or small, so that when they leave the office the can feel heard and like their eye care issues have been addressed. A transformational eyecare experience is a unique and personalized approach to eye care to enable vision to help us live our lives to the fullest. How are you impacting your local community? I want to help the local community by providing exceptional eye care and volunteering when I can. Clinical Certifications & Specialties: Extern at practice that were heavily focused on Glaucoma and performed LPI and SLT on sever patients. Also did intense light pulse therapy, Punctal plugs and gland expressions on dry eyes along with treating vast variety of eye diseases. What drives your passion for optometry? helping people see better one eye at a time. How are you helping patients live their best lives? Helping them see 20/20 without any headaches or eye strain. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? It makes me feel happy knowing that with the help of glasses or contacts I can make their life easier. Help them experience the important things in life. How are you impacting your local community? I often volunteer at local food bank and help fight hunger around the community. Hobbies/Interests: Basketball, swimming, trying new food, spending time with friends and family , trading stocks, traveling and exploring new places.

The gift of sight is such a precious one. I want every patient of mine to know that their ocular health and wellness is the most important thing to me in the time that I have with them. There is so much more to an eye exam than contact lenses and eyeglasses. My hope for my patient is that they will leave my exam chair more knowledgeable about their own ocular health than when they entered and feel better equipped to protect their eyes for years to come. Hobbies/Interests: Jogging, decorating, and baking sweet treats for my husband and daughter. We enjoy Ole Miss Football in the fall and traveling when we get the chance.
