How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? I am a 3rd generation Optometrist with 20+ years of practice in Northern Virginia. My father and Great Uncle were career Optometrists. I support our community by providing comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, diabetic eye exams, contact lens fitting, and ocular disease management. While supporting our community’s eye health, I stay active and busy raising three wonderful children with my husband. Hobbies/Interests: Board Games, Traveling and Spending time with my family and entertaining with friends.

Helping patients get what they visually need. How are you helping patients live their best lives? I am helping our kids function to their potential with their busy electronic educational demands, which helps families understand the various visual needs. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? Not only are the basic needs of seeing adequately important but understanding how vision and its devices can affect some peoples' overall development, or a simple change in a pair of glasses can make you feel better, can give a unique eyecare experience. How are you impacting your local community? I enjoy teaching my patients overall basic eye health and anatomy and how it pertains to their unique situation, which can promote better hygiene overall. Hobbies/Interests: Hobbies are volunteering, spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and whatever interests my children are into at the time, which is currently Taekwondo, and spending time at the beach.
