Dr. Catherine Hall began her undergraduate work at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She completed her doctorate at the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1998, receiving three letters of clinical excellence. She is a member of the Dallas County Optometric Society, American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and National Glaucoma Society. When not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs, and gardening.

Julia Jose, OD

About Julia Jose, OD

Dr. Julia Jose completed her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida. Her Optometry degree was completed in Nova Southeastern University, where she also earned a second bachelor’s degree in Vision Sciences. She completed specialty training in diabetic eye exams and ocular disease. Dr. Jose always had a passion for this field, but her passion grew further after she went on a mission trip to Nicaragua during the end of her second year of optometry school. During this eye-opening trip, she helped provide eye care to over 1,000 underserved people of Nicaragua. Dr. Jose is compassionate with her patients, thorough, and most of all personable, which is the biggest compliment she gets. She treats everyone on her chair like they are her friend or family. Dr. Jose moved to Dallas, TX from sunny Florida at the beginning of 2022 after getting married to her husband who is a Dallas native. In her spare time, Dr. Jose likes to spend time with her family and friends, travel, and find new things to do in Dallas.

Dr. Brenda Floyd is a licensed optometrist practicing at MyEyeDr. in Lewisville, Texas. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and received her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Alabama of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry. Dr. Floyd's educational journey also includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Optics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). As part of her training, she completed an internship at the UAB Diabetes Hospital. In her college years, Dr. Floyd served as the president of the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society. Dr. Floyd has received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who's Who, a renowned publisher of biographical profiles. Her extensive experience, leadership qualities, and notable accomplishments have earned her a prominent position within her professional network. She also received the Marquis Award for Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare. Before establishing her practice in the Dallas area, Dr. Floyd gained valuable clinical experience at the Center for Developmental and Learning Disorders at UAB Health System. Additionally, she served as a clinician at the Diabetes Hospital of UAB Health System. During her career, Dr. Floyd also contributed as a columnist in eye care for the Lewisville Daily Leader. In 1993, Dr. Floyd founded Sharp Eyes Optometry in Lewisville, Texas, and later became partners with Dr. Rosenberg in 2005. Their private practice serves the Flower Mound, Lewisville, and Carrollton areas, offering a comprehensive range of services and eyewear products. These include eye exams, testing for all ages, prescription and non-prescription glasses, sunglasses, as well as a wide selection of eyewear frames and contact lenses. Dr. Floyd's dedication to her community is evident in her commitment to helping her patients live their best lives. She takes pride in providing excellent care and strives to ensure her patients' satisfaction. Her passion for optometry allows her to tackle even the most challenging vision issues and provide effective solutions. Actively involved in professional organizations, Dr. Floyd is a longstanding member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), where she received an Education Award for her exceptional work. Peter Mocklis, OD

About Peter Mocklis, OD

Dr. Mocklis received his undergraduate degree from Hobart and William-Smith College in Geneva, NY. During his graduate studies at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, he completed externships at the Brighton Marine Hospital in Boston, MA, the Boston VA Hospital, the New England Eye Institute in Boston, MA and Western Massachusetts State Hospital in Westfield, MA. He is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the AOA, and the New Hampshire Optometric Association. Dr. Mocklis is devoted to his family, his patients, and his staff. When he is not at work, he likes being active outdoors -- kayaking or boating with family, playing pickup basketball with friends, or participating in the Seacoast Century bike race (which he's done every year and plans to do so until he is 80). Dr. Mocklis is a native of Greece and was born on an island. He speaks the language fluently and returns to Greece every few years to visit family. Dr. Mocklis was interviewed by the Portsmouth Herald about the impacts of blue light from digital devices on the eyes.
