About Dale Lindsey, OD

Dr. Lindsey attended The Ohio State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology in 1978. He then obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1983, also from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the Ohio Visual Foundation, Ohio Zone 4, Ohio Optometric Association, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Born and raised in Parma he then moved to the Cortland area after graduating from OSU. Dr. Lindsey has served his community over the last 30 years raising two children, volunteering at the local schools to aid in vision screenings and continuing his education to provide outstanding quality care to his patients.

Mary Hood, OD

About Mary Hood, OD

I am a transplant from Kentucky. I have been practicing in the New Orleans area for 40 years. I am single and have two small dogs. I like crafts, walking, taking care of my community cats, watching old movies and volunteering for activities at my church.

William Grovenburg, OD

About William Grovenburg, OD

Dr. William Grovenburg earned his doctorate from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. He specializes in primary eye care for patients of all ages, focusing on helping them achieve optimal vision and long-term eye health. An active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma American Optometric Association, Dr. Grovenburg stays current with the latest optometry advancements. He enjoys spending quality time with his spouse and two children outside the office. A passionate musician, he plays several instruments, including the mandolin (his primary instrument), piano, organ, bass, guitar, ukulele, and banjo.

Ning-Ju Juang, OD

About Ning-Ju Juang, OD

Dr. Ning-Ju Juang grew up in Ann Arbor, MI and went the University of Michigan for undergraduate school. She decided to venture out west and pursue her passion for optometry at the University of California, Berkeley. After living in Chicago and New York, the pull of her hometown brought her back to Ann Arbor where she now resides with her family. Here interests include cooking, playing the violin, hiking, and traveling the world.

Dominic Lombardi, OD

About Dominic Lombardi, OD

Undergrad education: Drake University - Bachelor's in Clinical and Applied Science - 2018; Optometry school: The Ohio State University College of Optometry - 2023; Residency: The Columbus/Chillicothe VAs - 2024. Dr. Lombardi first showed an interest in optometry at an early age, having decided he wanted to be a doctor and having gotten his first pair of glasses in 2nd grade. While at Drake he ran track while also working on his bachelor's and did his senior capstone project on vision screenings in daycares, kindergartens, and elementary schools. He went on to start optometry school after a year of working as an ophthalmic technician. After completing school, he started a residency in ocular disease with a minor focus on low vision. As a young, VA trained optometrist, he is striving to utilize the skills he acquired during his disease residency to the absolute highest level and to advocate for the highest scope possible in the profession. He also intends to give his patients the best quality healthcare he is capable of by constantly learning about the advancements and innovations being made and apply them to his clinical skills and practice.

Emily Meredith, OD

About Emily Meredith, OD

Originally from Paducah, KY. Attended the University of Kentucky, graduated with Honors and obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry. Obtained Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry, where I was the President of the Kentucky Club, Treasurer of the Ocular Disease Club, and member of the Contact Lens Society. I enjoy spending time with my family, going on walks, and reading a good book!

Ann Marie Spadafora, OD

About Ann Marie Spadafora, OD

Dr. Ann Spadafora has been providing comprehensive eyecare for over 25 years. She was awarded her Doctor of Optometry with High Distinction in 1993. Her studies offered her the opportunity to have rotations in Glaucoma management, Pediatric Eyecare, and Ocular Disease Management. Upon graduation from The Michigan College of Optometry (MCO), Dr. Spadafora enjoyed providing comprehensive eyecare for all generations while practicing at Henry Ford Optimeyes. This was especially true as she participated in the Infant See Program and provided eye care throughout Southeast Michigan with the Nursing Home Eyecare Group. In 2004, she was given the opportunity to practice at Ruijin University Hospital in Shanghai, China. She was the lead Optometrist for this internationally ranked hospital’s Eyecare Center. Upon returning to the States, she continued practicing at Henry Ford Optimeyes and served the Detroit community at their Main Campus. She is honored to continue Dr. Zak’s legacy in serving Clarkston and the surrounding neighborhoods for over 30 years. Dr. Spadafora’s husband, Paul, and her two daughters enjoy the time they spend biking and cheering on their Clarkston High School Wolves. Dr. Ann M. Dr. Hernandez joined the MyEyeDoctor team in 2024. Dr. Hernandez graduated with honors from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2017 and moved to the Broken Arrow area. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his dogs. Undergraduate Education - Louisiana State University 1998-2000, University of Alabama at Birmingham 2000-2002. Optometry School - University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry 2002-2006. Certifications / Awards - National Board of Optometry Certified 2006. Hobbies / Interests - Swimming, hiking, concerts, playing volleyball with my daughters and friends, playing games with friends, watching movies with my family. Dr. Chumbler comes to our practice with over 18 years of experience providing exceptional comprehensive eyecare. She graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry after completing her dual degrees in Science and Biology. She grew up in the south and loves warm weather and outdoor activities. She moved to Michigan upon marrying her husband, and they have two beautiful daughters. Dr. Chumbler and her family enjoy Michigan’s change of seasons and cheering on our Detroit Lions. She is very active with her daughters’ travel volleyball and softball teams and her family is often found enjoying the tree lighting in our community with their daughters singing in the Christmas choir. Dr. Chumbler is a caring doctor and extends her love for her profession in the detailed comprehensive care she provides to every patient she examines. She treats her patients like family and applies her expansive clinical experience in the care they receive.
