Dr. Steven Guzik, Owner of Primary Eyecare Professionals, graduated from Loras College in May of 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He obtained his Optometric Degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in May 1998. While attending ICO, Dr. Guzik received the Southwest Contact Lens Society Scholarship. While working at the Wesley-Jessen Corporation, Dr. Guzik was an assistant clinical moderator for optometric students from the Illinois College of Optometry and Indiana University. He aided fourth-year optometric students with clinical decisions on diagnosing and treating ocular ailments. While at Wesley-Jessen, he obtained extensive knowledge and experience with several types of contacts and fitting techniques. In addition, Dr. Guzik has participated in contact lens workshops for third-year optometric students at the Illinois College of Optometry since 1999. He previously served as a clinical proctor with the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. As a proctor, his responsibility was to assess the clinical skills of fourth-year optometric students. He specializes in advanced contact lens fittings, myopia management, ocular disease cases, and pediatric optometry.

Impact: I strive to provide the best comprehensive eye care in Primary Eye Care setting, including Adult and Children’s Vision and Ocular Health assessment and Plans that include but are not limited to Spectacle and Contact lens fitting, Binocular Vision, Ocular Disease Management, and Diabetic Eye Exams and appropriate referrals when indicated and co-management with Specialists in their Fields of Expertise. I feel that patient education is paramount to achieving the above goals. I am the third OD in my family, and this has always been our desire to obtain the best outcome for all our patients possible. Dr. Julia Landavazo attended Georgia Southern University, where she played Division 1 volleyball and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Her passion for eye care led her to the Kentucky College of Optometry, where she excelled academically, graduating Cum Laude and with clinical honors. Her training focused on ocular disease, dry eye, and pre- and post-operative management. With a commitment to serving her community, Dr.Landavazo is dedicated to building lasting relationships with her patients and providing exceptional eye care. She combines her professional expertise with a personal touch, ensuring each patient feels valued and cared for.

Dr. Thao Ngo is a dedicated optometrist with over seven years of experience in ocular diseases, dry eye management, and comprehensive eye care. She specializes in pre-and post-operative care for refractive surgery. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Baylor University and her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Rosenberg School of Optometry. Dr. Ngo has worked in several private practices, a laser refractive surgery center, and an ophthalmology clinic in the DFW area. She strives to provide exceptional patient care and communication, helping every patient have the best possible vision. In her free time, Dr. Ngo enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pug, Otis. She loves trying new recipes, traveling, and Lagree fitness.

Dr. Cosenza began his academic journey at Quinnipiac University, where he earned an Associate of Science degree. He was then offered early entry into the New England College of Optometry, where he completed his Bachelor of Optometry and Doctor of Optometry degrees. After completing his education, Dr. Cosenza practiced with Ophthalmology Associates PC for three years in Fairfield, CT. He then co-founded Vision Group with Dr. Robert Blake, expanding the practice to three offices. OptiCare PC, a Connecticut-based multidisciplinary eye care provider, later acquired Vision Group. Following the sale of Vision Group, Dr. Cosenza consulted and practiced with several optometric practices across Connecticut, primarily Professional Vision Center in Meriden. Over the past five years.he has served on staff at Eyecare Associates in Fairfield, CT, delivering high-quality patient care. Dr. Cosenza has now joined MyEyeDr, where he is excited to accept new patients at both the Fairfield and Westport locations. I have been providing comprehensive eye exams for both adults and children , as well as diabetic eye exams. Contact lens fittings and evaluations and ocular disease management. Dr. Fatima graduated with Magna Cum Laude from Benedictine University with Bachelors’ in Health Sciences. She then completed a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree with the Tomb & Key Honors Society and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society awards. Dr. Fatima became an eye doctor as she always wanted to be a healthcare professional as a child. Being a Doctor of Optometry allows her to be an essential part of her patients' healthcare team, making sure that they see better and have optimal health! Besides primary eye care, she enjoys myopia control/management, specialty contact lenses, treating eye diseases, and preventing glaucoma, among other conditions. When Dr. Fatima is not in the office, she enjoys reading, traveling, swimming, and spending quality time with friends and family.
