Liqing Li, OD

About Liqing Li, OD

Dr. Li was born in China and raised in Texas, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. She recieved her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. She completed her clinical training at Southwest Vision Center and Kozlovsky Delay & Winter Eye Consultants, where she managed ocular diseases and provided pre and post-ocular surgical care. During time at school, she served as the President of Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation Association (OVDRA) and Sports Vision. She previously researched on color vision and publishing it in the journal "Eye". She is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and Texas Optometric Association (TOA). She also volunteered on a mission trip to Guatemala, where she provided eyecare to the underserved population of Chichicastenango. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and aims to provide positive, impactful visual and ocular health solutions for patients' concerns. During her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with family.

Frederick Tillman, OD

About Frederick Tillman, OD

Dr. Frederick Tillman graduated from Albany Junior College with an Associate of Arts Degree in 1976. He attended the University of Georgia beginning in 1976 and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1979. Dr. Tillman received a Doctor of Optometry Degree in 1981 from Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Tillman had a private practice in Thompson, GA, from 1981 to 1982 and then in Brunswick, GA, from 1982 to 1985. He and his family moved to Carrollton in 1985, and he has had a successful practice here for nearly 40 years. He and his wife, Sally, have three children, Beth, Walt, and Sara Claudia, and two grandchildren, Charlie and Naomi.

Undergraduate education: University of Maryland. Optometry School: Nova Southeastern University. How are you impacting your community? I grew up in South Florida, where I graduated from South Plantation High School. The school is just 10 minutes away from Weston, where I have worked for the last 25 years. It gives me a sense of great pride to be servicing the community that gave so much to me. I take pleasure in getting to know my patients personally and professionally to build lasting relationships. With over 20 years of experience in eye care, I have had the privilege of serving the Weston community and building lasting relationships with my patients. It’s truly rewarding to care for individuals I first met as children and now see their own kids. I take pride in the personal connections I’ve formed, which have encouraged many to continue their eyecare journey with me, even after moving away. Steven Guzik, OD

About Steven Guzik, OD

Dr. Steven Guzik, Owner of Primary Eyecare Professionals, graduated from Loras College in May of 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He obtained his Optometric Degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in May 1998. While attending ICO, Dr. Guzik received the Southwest Contact Lens Society Scholarship. While working at the Wesley-Jessen Corporation, Dr. Guzik was an assistant clinical moderator for optometric students from the Illinois College of Optometry and Indiana University. He aided fourth-year optometric students with clinical decisions on diagnosing and treating ocular ailments. While at Wesley-Jessen, he obtained extensive knowledge and experience with several types of contacts and fitting techniques. In addition, Dr. Guzik has participated in contact lens workshops for third-year optometric students at the Illinois College of Optometry since 1999. He previously served as a clinical proctor with the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. As a proctor, his responsibility was to assess the clinical skills of fourth-year optometric students. He specializes in advanced contact lens fittings, myopia management, ocular disease cases, and pediatric optometry.
