We provide eyecare and eyeglasses to children in need in the community through the school district and have been a longstanding neighborhood practice including seeing Northwestern University student athletes. Hobbies/Interests: I love spending as much time outdoors during the warmer months with my two little kids bike riding and gardening (them digging in the dirt) and taking pictures of our adventures.

As I pursued it throughout college, I realized it was much more than that and knew optometry was how I wanted to help people. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crocheting, camping, visiting wineries, and spending time with my friends and family. My favorite part of helping my patients is the one on one interaction and the relationships that build from seeing people from year to year.

The reason I became an optometrist is: I injured my eye at a very young age and ever since I have wanted to care for patients’ eye health needs and help them see better. My favorite part of helping my patients is: that Wow! moment when someone can see well again. In my spare time, I enjoy: Spending time with my family, playing video games and watching sports.

The reason I became an optometrist is: I always knew I wanted to be in the medical field but was unsure of where exactly I wanted to end up. I shadowed a local optometrist in college and never looked back! My favorite part of helping my patients is: There is no better feeling than watching someone put on their first pair of glasses! In my spare time, I enjoy: Reading, traveling, and spending time with family.

It is great not having shots or high pitch drills at an optometrist’s office! I strive to provide quality eye care to patients as other optometrists have done for me. My favorite part of helping my patients is seeing the smiles and appreciation on my patient's face even with a mask on. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, discovering new food, cooking, scenic walks, and spending time with friends and family.
