I am fascinated by the difference glasses can make in one's life. How are you helping patients live their best lives? I love helping people see clearly and showing them what good vision should be. I like learning about my patients’ vision problems and figuring out how I can make a difference in improving their quality of life. It’s gratifying to know that I’ve made it easier for someone to read a book or see a loved one. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? Improving a person's overall health by getting them to the right provider if damage from systemic conditions noted.

I was experiencing a certain level of misery! My father's optometrist agreed to meet us at his office on a Sunday evening. After examining me on some cool equipment and putting in a couple drops, he everted my lid and removed a piece of sawdust. There was immediate relief from misery! I have never forgotten his kindness nor the resulting satisfaction! I looked into the profession and never looked back. My favorite part of helping my patients is the fact that they leave here with a problem solved after a pleasant experience. In my spare time, I enjoy my Son and his soccer, surfing, fishing, the outdoors, animals, birds, trees, cooking, and sports.

Undergraduate Education: Duke University. Optometry School Southern College of Optometry. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? Vision is our most important sense, and I love being able to play a part in helping my patients have the best vision possible to ensure their highest quality of life. I am proud to serve the community I grew up in and the surrounding counties. Hobbies/Interests: Gardening, horseback riding, spending time with my family. I am also very active in my church.

The reason I became an optometrist is: I wanted to help people in my community. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Helping them see their best to enjoy their lives to the fullest, and better understand their eye health and vision status. In my spare time, I enjoy: Spending time with my family and fixing up my house.
