My favorite part of helping my patients is: Seeing the satisfied look on their faces after receiving their eyewear. In my spare time, I enjoy: Fitness and any outdoor activities.

Dr. Godfrey has been an Optometrist since 1981, earning a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University. He has been a member of the Sertoma Club of East Indianapolis since 1984. He enjoys reading, IU Rugby and Formula 1 racing.

The reason I became an optometrist is: I have poor eyesight myself and spent a lot of time at my eye doctor's office as a kid. He helped me tremendously and I thought I could do the same for others. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Seeing patient reactions when they put glasses on for the first time. In my spare time, I enjoy: Wood Working; Watching and playing sports; Traveling; Spending time with my wife Abby and two-year-old son Declan.

The reason I became an optometrist is: As a child I walked home from school past the Virginia M Tutt library and every day I stopped in and spent an hour either reading or using an old wooden stereoscope. The library had a large collection of view cards of foreign countries and exotic animals. I was fascinated by the 3-D viewer and started reading everything I could find about the visual system and visual perception. That interest has remained with me my entire life. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Enabling them to have not only the clearest but the most comfortable vision with which they can pursue their work and leisure activities. As well as making sure their ocular and general health needs are being met. In my spare time, I enjoy: Drawing, painting, and reading.

The reason I became an optometrist is: Since childhood, I always wanted to pursue a medical profession, and desired a setting where I could still prioritize raising a family. A family history of poor eyesight led me to pursue the eyes and vision as a particular field of study. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Giving them the knowledge and tools necessary to maximize vision and eye health so that they can succeed in daily life. In my spare time, I enjoy: Reading and spending time with my wife and kids and serving at my church.

Dr. Tran attended the University of Texas at Dallas where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2015. She then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry and graduated as valedictorian of her class in 2019. At her internships during optometry school, she was able to expand her knowledge in primary care optometry, ocular pathology, and specialty contact lenses. Dr. Tran is currently involved in the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Outside of optometry, she likes to spend her free time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include baking and watching Netflix.
