About Patrick Albert, OD

Undergraduate School: Indiana University B.S. Optometry School: Indiana University School of Optometry, 1977. The reason I became an optometrist is: As a child I walked home from school past the Virginia M Tutt library and every day I stopped in and spent an hour either reading or using an old wooden stereoscope. The library had a large collection of view cards of foreign countries and exotic animals. I was fascinated by the 3-D viewer and started reading everything I could find about the visual system and visual perception. That interest has remained with me my entire life. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Enabling them to have not only the clearest but the most comfortable vision with which they can pursue their work and leisure activities. As well as making sure their ocular and general health needs are being met. In my spare time, I enjoy: Drawing, painting, and reading.
