He recognizes the precious gift of sight and takes pride in assisting his patients achieve optimal vision. Dr. Hughes feels immensely blessed to be able to pursue his passion while also prioritizing quality time with his family. Dr. Hughes obtained his Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in Houston, Texas, in 2006. Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree at Abilene Christian University in 2002. He is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Texas Optometric Association (TOA). Dr. Hughes’ exceptional patient care earned him multiple Clinical Letters of Excellence, and he was honored with the prestigious Gold Key Award for outstanding leadership. When he's not practicing optometry, Dr. Hughes cherishes the moments spent with his wife and their five children.
