My passion for optometry is driven by patient care. I really enjoy serving people and it's always a pleasure to learn their stories. How are you helping patients live their best lives? I am helping patients live their best lives by offering exceptional care by taking keen interest in the lifestyle of each patient. By taking the time to listen, I am able to cater each individual exam to the current needs of the patient. How are you impacting your local community? My hope is that after the pandemic, there will be more opportunities to get more involved in mission work. Hobbies/Interests: Gardening, painting, music & movies

Dr. Solberg has been here in Waukesha since 2000. Dr. Solberg had been working at a multi-office ophthalmology/optometry clinic for seven years before his own practice, gaining much experience in routine eye examinations and contact lenses comprehensive eye care including treatment of eye infections and disease, glaucoma, foreign-body removal, and co-management in cataract surgery. He is a long-time resident of southeast Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse before graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1989. Dr. Solberg and his wife Lisa have three children.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? I want to help my patients have a great life by assuring the best vision possible and keeping their eyes healthy. Hobbies/Interest: I love to spend time with my wife, my children, my grandchild as well as my 2 dogs. I enjoy traveling and finding new restaurants.

Clinical Certifications and Specialties: Completed an Optometric Primary Care Residency at the Memphis VA Medical Center. The reason I became an optometrist is: To help people daily in a tangible way; whether that means adjusting their glasses prescription so they can read the newspaper each morning, fitting a teen in contact lenses for the first time, or taking care of that corneal abrasion after getting scratched in the eye. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Getting to know them on a personal level. Learning who they are and what they like to do not only help me determine the best solutions to their optical needs, but also makes the workday feel more like a visit with friends! In my spare time, I enjoy: Spending time with my family, usually outdoors. My husband competes professionally in disc golf, so you can generally find us at one of East Texas’ several disc golf courses!

Dr. Leah Soll graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry. She was proud to serve veterans, cadets, and active service members and their families as she provided optometry services as an extern at the Veterans Hospital in Jamaica Plain and at West Point Military Academy. Originally from Clifton Park, New York, Dr. Soll is happy to be living in the Boston area again. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach and spending time outdoors.

The reason I became an optometrist is: The eyes are truly fascinating and is a great example of how the whole body and brain work together. My favorite part of helping my patients is: I enjoy talking to my patients and listening to their needs to achieve an individualized patient centered approach. In my spare time, I enjoy: Relaxing, nature, food and culture, exploring new restaurants and places, exercising (particularly yoga, barre, Pilates), spending time family and with my pets- currently I have two cats.

Dr. Lyes Souadi is a dedicated optometrist with a strong passion for providing exceptional eye care. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Souadi grew up with a love for sports, actively playing soccer and basketball throughout his youth. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of Texas at San Antonio before pursuing his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Optometry. Dr. Souadi is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain optimal eye health. He combines his medical expertise with a personalized approach to care, ensuring each patient feels heard and supported. Outside of the office, Dr. Souadi enjoys spending time outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, fishing, or playing pickup soccer, he loves staying active and connected with nature. His approachable demeanor and community-focused mindset make him a trusted professional in the field of optometry.

Dr. Ann Spadafora has been providing comprehensive eyecare for over 25 years. She was awarded her Doctor of Optometry with High Distinction in 1993. Her studies offered her the opportunity to have rotations in Glaucoma management, Pediatric Eyecare, and Ocular Disease Management. Upon graduation from The Michigan College of Optometry (MCO), Dr. Spadafora enjoyed providing comprehensive eyecare for all generations while practicing at Henry Ford Optimeyes. This was especially true as she participated in the Infant See Program and provided eye care throughout Southeast Michigan with the Nursing Home Eyecare Group. In 2004, she was given the opportunity to practice at Ruijin University Hospital in Shanghai, China. She was the lead Optometrist for this internationally ranked hospital’s Eyecare Center. Upon returning to the States, she continued practicing at Henry Ford Optimeyes and served the Detroit community at their Main Campus. She is honored to continue Dr. Zak’s legacy in serving Clarkston and the surrounding neighborhoods for over 30 years. Dr. Spadafora’s husband, Paul, and her two daughters enjoy the time they spend biking and cheering on their Clarkston High School Wolves. Dr. Ann M. Dr. Haley Sparks was born and raised in Enid, Oklahoma and graduated from Enid High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. She graduated from the Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in May of 2020. Accomplishments include Optometric Student Association Member of the Year 2017-2018, Bausch & Lomb Student Representative 2019, Transitions Optical Student Representative 2018, Optometric Student Association Class of 2020 Outstanding Student 2018-2019, and SOLN Leadership Conference Certificate of Completion 2018. Hobbies include watching OU football games, baking, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Spencer was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. He earned his Bachelor of Business degree in 1992 from Texas Christian University. He attended the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. After receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2006, he went on a VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) trip to provide free eye exams and glasses to the underserved in the Dominican Republic. He recently retired from the United States Air Force where he practiced as an Optometrist for nine years. He participated in two military medical humanitarian trips; one to the Arctic Circle in northern Alaska and the other to the Kingdom of Tonga in the South Pacific. His wife, Ruth, is also retired from the United States Air Force, and they are blessed with two sons and a daughter who attend Frenship ISD. Dr. Spencer is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and the South Plains Optometric Society. Dr. Spencer specializes in Glaucoma/Therapeutic Optometry, Specialty Contact Lenses, Family Vision and Laser Vision Evaluations with the Laser Eye Center of Lubbock.

Optometry School: Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? I believe that sight is one of the most vital senses we have. As an optometrist, I can ensure that my patient’s eye health and vision is the best they can be. I provide comprehensive eye exams, and contact lens fittings, and can diagnose and treat ocular diseases. I look forward to seeing the excitement from my patients after giving them their best vision. Hobbies/Interests: Cooking, yoga, and spending time with my family and friends.
