Dr. Christian Salazar earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida in 2017. He then completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University in 2023. Outside of work, Dr. Salazar is passionate about traveling and ocean conservation. He also enjoys staying active through Muay Thai and Krav Maga. As a car enthusiast, he loves exploring the world of motorsports and racing.

Receiving glasses as a preteen and my grandmother losing her sight to diabetes prompted me to enter into this profession. How are you helping patients live their best lives? I take the time to get to know my patients the best I can. Some of my patients have been with me for over 15 years. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? Ensuring the happiness and satisfaction of all patients. How are you impacting your local community? I have lived in Woodbridge since 2002. I enjoyed volunteering at my children’s school for vision screenings. Hobbies/Interests: Reading, especially at the beach/Entertaining/chauffeuring my children

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? My aim is to educate our patients so that they learn something from each exam. Whether I have seen them just once, or many times, I want to ensure they know everything about their eyes. Hobbies/Interests: Woodworking, Hiking.

By providing wide scope of eye care services to adults and children including general eye exams, contact lens fittings, diabetic eye exams and ocular disease management. Hobbies/Interests: Hiking, gardening, cooking.

Dr. Jamie Samson grew up in Glenview, Illinois and received her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois in 2007. In 2011, she received her doctorate from Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Samson moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2011 to complete her residency at the Southern AZ VA Healthcare Systems in Low Vision & Primary Care. Knowing the importance of regular comprehensive eye exams, Dr. Samson devotes herself to providing thorough primary care eye exams to patients as they age. When she has time off, Dr. Samson enjoys hiking, softball, camping and spending time with her wife, young children and rescue dog.

Dr. Adam Sauls is a native of the Raleigh area. Dr. Sauls earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in Exercise Science. He then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry where he attained his Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Sauls is happy to be back in Raleigh and is passionate about providing high quality care for the community that helped to raise him. During his training, Dr. Sauls gained valuable experience with ocular disease and primary care optometry by providing care to the nation's veterans at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He also has training in fitting contact lenses, dry eye management and pediatric optometry. Dr. Sauls is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the North Carolina Optometric Society. He currently serves on the Industry Relations Committee of the American Optometric Association, and was awarded with the 2023 President's Award by the AOA Board of Trustees for the exemplary dedication to optometry and the advancement of the profession. Being allowed to help people improve their vision can have an impact on someone’s daily life. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with my family.
