Dr. Sylvester, a board-certified Therapeutic Optometrist, also holds Bachelors Degrees in Physics and Biology, as well as a Masters Degree in Chemistry. He uses his extensive knowledge to explain not just the whats, but also the hows and whys and to answer any questions you may have. Informed patients are happy patients – and happy patients come back year after year. Many of Dr. Sylvester’s patients travel to see him, some from out of state and even out of the country!

About Dr. Harvey Thompson

Dr. Harve Thompson was born in Goodland, Kansas, where he grew up with his family. After attending Kansas State University and Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Thompson spent his post-graduate time as an officer in the United States Army at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. After his service, Dr. Thompson practiced in Tallahassee, Florida, founded Cheyenne Vision Clinic in Cheyenne, Wyoming, as well as Advanced Eyecare in Fort Collins, CO. Dr. Thompson collaborated in the first Lasik procedures performed in Colorado in the mid-1990′s and Dr. Thompson has since co-managed thousands of LASIK patients. His focus is primary care optometry.

Sarah E. Thompson grew up in the Chicago area. She received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University and went on to fulfill her professional degree at Indiana University School of Optometry. She then moved to Denver in June 2005 to begin her optometric career. Dr. Thompson appreciates working in a private practice setting where she can focus on patient education and quality eye care. She is trained to perform comprehensive eye examinations, co-manage cataract and laser surgeries, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, fit a variety of contact lenses, perform pediatric examinations, and treat dry or red eyes. In her spare time, Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
