Dr. Joseph Lutche has over 25 years of experience providing eye care in Middle Tennessee. He graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 1997 after attending Memphis State University. After operating a solo clinic for over a decade, Dr. Lutche spent the next several years traveling to schools across Tennessee to provide vision care to our students. He is excited about again practicing locally with new and established patients, alike. Dr. Lutche provides comprehensive eye care including prescribing glasses and contact lenses, diabetic eye care, and evaluation and management of dry eye, glaucoma, and other ocular issues. Outside the office, Dr. Lutche enjoys playing soccer, hearing live music, trying Nashville’s new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Ly has dedicated his career to enhancing vision and eye health in the community. He earned their undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin before pursuing his passion for optometry at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry (UIWRSO), where he graduated magna cum laude. As a licensed Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, Dr. Ly offers a comprehensive range of eye care services. His expertise encompasses specialty contact lenses and the management of various conditions, including dry eye disease, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Additionally, Dr. Ly provides co-management for patients undergoing LASIK and cataract surgery, ensuring a seamless and informed experience. With a commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Ly combines advanced technology with a compassionate approach, striving to provide the highest standard of eye care for every individual.

Boston Ma.; The reason I became an optometrist is because after talking to my own Optometrist and always wanting to practice in the health care system, I became very interested in the profession. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising and spending as much time as I can with my family and my two beautiful granddaughters. My favorite part of helping my patients is helping them to see their very best and educating them how to maintain best visual and ocular health and the importance of both ocular and systemic health.

Clinical Certifications and Specialties: In addition to primary eye care for adults and children, my specialties include orthokeratology, myopia control, and scleral and other specialty lenses; Certified fitter of MiSight Myopia Control soft lenses; Certified fitter of WAVE custom designed NightLens Orthokeratology lenses; Certified for Bausch and Lomb VST (Vision Shaping Treatment); Certified for Paragon Corneal Refractive Therapy. The reason I became an optometrist is: It perfectly combines my math and science background with my love of helping people. My favorite part of helping my patients is: I have a special interest in fitting a wide variety of contact lenses, especially for patients with complex prescriptions and visual demands. It gives me great pleasure to help people see their best! In my spare time, I enjoy: Spending time with family and friends, swimming, playing tennis, and enjoying the outdoors.

A Board Certified optometrist, Dr. Michael Madigan grew up in Canada. He graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 1996 (after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Western Ontario). Dr. Madigan is a certified low vision specialist who has helped countless patients over the years optimize their usable vision, maximize the use of available technology and assistive devices, manage their vision impairments, and enjoy a higher quality of life. In addition to bringing warmth and expertise to individuals and families, Dr. Madigan has also provided care to community members through nonprofit organizations such as Astor Services for Children and Families, Northern Dutchess Hospital, and Anderson Center for Autism. His love of community has also extended to a number of other initiatives; he served as president and remains an active member of the Rhinebeck Lions Club, along with service as past president of the Saugerties Youth Hockey Association Board and former Board member of the Rhinebeck Area Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Madigan is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association. He lives in the Village of Rhinebeck; in his free time, Dr. Madigan enjoys ice hockey and skiing.

Undergraduate education: Western Illinois University. Optometry School: Illinois college of Optometry I have practiced Optometry in Carol Stream since 1997. I pride myself in treating my patients like family and offer the best comprehensive eyecare for the entire community. Outside of Optometry I enjoy time with my four adult children. I am an avid gardener with my focus on bonsai trees as well as flowers and vegetables.

Dr. Brooke Major earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology–Chemistry from Saint Joseph’s College before completing a Master of Science in Precision Medicine at Midwestern University. Building on this strong scientific foundation, Dr. Major pursued a Doctor of Optometry degree at the Chicago College of Optometry at Midwestern University, where they developed a passion for patient-centered care, ocular disease management, and advancing the profession through leadership and service. Throughout optometry school, Dr. Major distinguished themselves through exceptional involvement in professional organizations. They were honored as the 2023–2024 Trustee of the Year for the American Optometric Student Association and inducted into the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society for the 2024–2025 year. In 2025, they received the Excellence in Service to Optometry Organizations award at Chicago College of Optometry, recognizing their commitment to enhancing the student experience and advocating for the future of optometry. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Major enjoys staying active through hiking, exercise, and yoga. They also love reading and baking, activities that bring balance and creativity into their daily life. Dr. Major looks forward to providing compassionate, evidence-based eye care and building lasting relationships with patients in their community.

My favorite part of help my patient is the ability to provide better health and vision to my patients. I find it especially meaningful when I can provide functional living vision to those suffering from visually impairing corneal conditions. Hobbies/Interests: Food, travel, and snowboarding!

Dr. Maryam Maleki earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology and minor in philosophy from the University of the Incarnate Word. She went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry, where she also learned to perform comprehensive eye exams in Spanish, allowing her to care for a diverse patient community. She speaks Farsi/Persian fluently. Dr. Maleki is committed to delivering comprehensive and personalized eye care. Outside the office, she enjoys watching great films, listening to classical and jazz music, and baking.

Dr. Tanya Malhotra grew up in Toronto, Canada, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo. She then travelled to Philadelphia to attend the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, during which time she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Malhotra graduated magna cum laude as a Doctor of Optometry with clinical honors in neuro-ophthalmic disease and primary care, and went on to complete her ocular disease residency at Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates in Maryland. During her residency, she presented at the American Academy of Optometry and also achieved Diplomate status from the American Board of Optometry. She worked in a privately owned Ophthalmology practice in Delaware for several years after residency, before relocating back to Maryland to join MyEyeDr. Her practice includes full-scope comprehensive eye care with an emphasis on ocular disease. Her areas of special interest include dry eye as well as emergency care. She enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.

Professional Achievements and Associations: Residency in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy from SUNY College of Optometry 1998; Member of College of Optometrists in Vision Development; Member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association; Member of the Optometric Extension Program; Recipient of the AM Skeffington Award and the Fredrick Brock Award. Clinical Certifications and Specialties: Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development; I specialize in Pediatric and Vision Therapy; Director of the Vision and Learning Center. The reason I became an optometrist is: I grew up with vision issues since childhood and knew since childhood that I wanted to help others that have vision challenges as well. I truly believe that vision is a most valuable sense and want to do what I can to teach people to optimize their visual system to improve performance in life. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Knowing that I have been able to make even a small difference in their quality of life. I love seeing patients through all stages of life and seeing families as they grow. I love the relationships I have developed with my patients over the years. In my spare time, I enjoy: I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, yoga, and walking and spending time in nature.

I work diligently to provide personalized solutions that improve each of my patients’ overall quality of life. During my clinical rotations which included Fort Knox Army Base and Green Bay VA Hospital, I found a passion for ocular disease and primary eye care.
