Undergraduate Education: Bethany College, Bethany WV: Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Optometry School: Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. I am currently a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Pennsylvania Optometric Association (POA), and the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society (WPOS). While I enjoy seeing patients of all ages, I especially love working with kids and making them feel comfortable during their visit to our office. My favorite part of being an optometrist is getting to know my patients and their families, listening to their individual needs, and helping problem solve when unique situations present

My favorite part of helping my patients is: the joy of being able to give people their best vision. In my spare time, I enjoy: Exercising, reading, and spending time with my family.

Dr. Konvalin practices at the MyEyeDr - Prosper, TX location, is a graduate of Kansas State University and the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Konvalin has spent time as an Adjunct Clinical Professor with the University of Houston and has over 30 years clinical experience. He worked in private practice in McAllen and Longview, Texas before opening the Prosper office in 2006. While not seeing patients, Dr. Konvalin enjoys working in the yard and tinkering with his old car and motorcycles. He and his wife Nelda are members of Prosper United Methodist Church and are proud parents of three adult children, Jenna, Ross, and Erin.

I live in this community and helping make a positive difference in the vision, health and life of my community. What drives your passion for optometry? Providing the highest level of care to my patients. How are you helping patients live their best lives? Making sure they have the proper eye wear for their profession. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? It begins with educating the patient about the health of eyes and giving them the proper prescription based on their visual needs. How are you impacting your local community? By being available to see patients as a walk in, treating eye injuries. Hobbies/Interests: learning different languages.

Dr. Koval received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry. He is the past president of the Central Indiana Optometric Society and is an active continuing medical education speaker. He and his family have lived in Indianapolis for 30 years. He is active in local Lions charity and church activities. He enjoys family practice, glaucoma, and contact lens care.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? My goal is to provide comprehensive eye care for the whole family, from children to grandparents. I aim to show every person in my chair the respect and patience they deserve, to make them feel heard, and help them walk out of their exam with a greater understanding regarding their eyes. I value transparency and education in my patient care and always make sure every patient is happy and satisfied with the services they receive. Hobbies/Interests: Pickleball, Travel, Gardening, DIY house projects and Construction.

I enjoy meeting and caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds, and helping them with something as important as their vision. How are you helping patients live their best lives? I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level, including their occupation, hobbies, and passions. This allows me to tailor their care to optimize their vision during the most important activities of their lives. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? Solving any visual problems a patient has in addition to performing a thorough ocular health assessment. Patients are often surprised how many health conditions can be diagnosed with an eye exam! How are you impacting your local community? Improving quality of life one patient at a time. Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy cycling, yoga, hiking, skiing, drinking tea, listening to vinyl records, and spending time with my wife and dog, Oakley.

The reason I became an optometrist is: My own vision problems when I was younger made me want to help patients the same way my childhood optometrist helped me. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Detecting ocular disease before it has a significant impact on vision. In my spare time, I enjoy: Exercising, fishing, watching sports, and spending time with family.

Undergraduate Education: University of Delaware. Optometry School: Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. The reason I became an optometrist is: I always knew I wanted to be in the medical field but was unsure of where exactly I wanted to end up. I shadowed a local optometrist in college and never looked back! My favorite part of helping my patients is: There is no better feeling than watching someone put on their first pair of glasses! In my spare time, I enjoy: Reading, traveling, and spending time with family.

Undergraduate Education: University of Georgia BSEH Cum Laude. Optometry School: University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? Dr. Kreide is active in her church, supports a local food pantry, and donates items to feed the homeless. Hobbies/Interests: Traveling, spending time with family, fine cross stitch, and scrapbooking.

Clinical Certifications and Specialties: No specific certified specialties but on a day-to-day basis I treat and diagnose glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, remove corneal foreign bodies. Fit hard and soft contact lenses. Also see children of all ages. The reason I became an optometrist is: Having a sibling that is an optometrist and 15 years older, I was introduced to the profession at an early age. I was able to see “behind the scenes” and was immediately interested in the profession. I always gravitated towards the sciences in school and as I progressed through my education, it became clearer that optometry was the perfect fit. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Giving a patient his or her first pair of glasses, especially kids. Their reaction to seeing the world clear for the first time is priceless. Also, being informed by a parent that a child’s school performance has improved because of his or her glasses is something that never gets old. In my spare time, I enjoy: Playing golf; Spending time with my wife and kids.

The reason I became an optometrist is: Help people see their best. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Helping them see their best. In my spare time, I enjoy: Playing golf.

The reason I became an optometrist is: To have the same impact on making my patients see better like my optometrist had on me as a child. My favorite part of helping my patients is: The joy I see in my patients faces when seeing 20/20 becomes a reality! In my spare time, I enjoy: Spending time with my daughters and traveling.

Dr. Krivacic attended University of Texas and The University of Houston. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1981 and MBA from Texas Tech University in 2011. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association and the North Texas Optometric Society. Dr. Krivacic is the current president of 1st Eyecare and long time member and treasure of the Irving Sunrise Rotary Club. He has also participated in the initial FDA studies for laser surgery. Dr. Krivacic’s hobbies include playing tennis and golf, as well as traveling. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Paige, and their English Bulldogs.
