Dr. Donna Hogan has been practicing in Concord, NH since late 1989. Originally from Massachusetts, he received her degree in optometry from New England College of Optometry in 1987 after completing her undergraduate degree in biology at Merrimack College in 1983. She met her husband Tim in optometry school, and they married in 1987. After working for Leahey Eye Clinic in Lowell, MA, she and her husband, Tim, purchased a practice from a retiring optometrist in Concord, NH. Clinical specialties include: diabetic eye exams, glaucoma management, ocular disease management, and contact lens fittings. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, running, painting, cooking, and traveling, especially to New York to visit her daughter and family.

Dr. Tim Hogan has been practicing in Concord, NH, since late 1989. Originally from Massachusetts, he received his degree in optometry from New England College of Optometry in 1987 after completing his undergraduate degree in biology at St. Anselm College, magna cum laude, in 1983. He met his wife in optometry school, and they married in 1987. After working at Leahey Eye Clinic in Lowell, MA, he and his wife, Donna, purchased a practice from a retiring optometrist in Concord, NH. Clinical specialties include: diabetic eye exams, glaucoma management, ocular disease management, and contact lens fittings. In his leisure time, he enjoys history, woodworking, biking, and traveling, especially to New York to visit his daughter and her family.

Undergraduate Education: Bachelor’s in biology from Heidelberg University. Optometry School: The Ohio State University College of Optometry. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? By performing comprehensive eye examinations, treatment of ocular disease, and fitting contact lenses. Hobbies/Interests: Playing tuba in the Monroe County Community College Band and the Deutchmeister German Band.

Dr. Charles Hollander graduated with honors in 1980 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. . He is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and is certified by the New York State Optometric Association to provide low vision services. Dr. Hollander is licensed in the therapeutic treatment of glaucoma, external eye diseases, and oral therapeutic medications in the State of New York. Dr. Hollander held the title for 15 years as an associate and clinical instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical School. He has devoted his career to working with children and adults who are visually impaired and difficult and unusual contact lens cases. He was an adjunct professor at Columbia University Teachers College where he instructed teachers who were receiving their master’s degree in teaching children who are visually impaired. Currently he is the Optometric consultant at the New York Institute for Special Education He has lectured extensively in low vision rehabilitation and co-authored a chapter in the textbook “The Essentials of Low Vision Care”. He currently resides in New York City with his wife of 44 years. He has 3 children and loves to spend time with his grandchildren.

Undergraduate Education: Rutgers University with a Bachelors of Art. Optometry School: Pennsylvania college of Optometry in 1998 renamed Salus University. The reason I became an optometrist is: I became an optometrist because the eye was the most fascinating organ of our body. My favorite part of helping my patients is: My favorite part of helping my patients is helping them see their best lives. Dr. Holtzman matriculated at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergraduate studies, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in May 1988. Thereafter, he attended Southern College of Optometry, receiving his Doctor of Optometry in 1992. Since that time, he gained 27 years of experience in the field as a practicing optometrist, including building, running, and selling his own private practice in the Denver market, culminating in 2018 when he began work at Optical Masters. Dr. Holtzman is an exceptionally caring, skilled, and knowledgeable optometrist, and we’re excited to have him on the team!

I am a transplant from Kentucky. I have been practicing in the New Orleans area for 40 years. I am single and have two small dogs. I like crafts, walking, taking care of my community cats, watching old movies and volunteering for activities at my church.

Dr. Matthiew Hoogland (Dr. Matt) is a board-certified optometrist specializing in primary care and ocular disease management. Hailing from northwest Iowa, he earned his BS in Biology from Dordt University (2009) and optometry degree from Pacific University (2017), followed by a year-long ocular disease residency in Oklahoma. Now calling North Carolina home, Dr. Matt is proud to be part of the American and North Carolina Optometric Associations. Dr. Matt is passionate about patient care and in his free time enjoys pickleball, hiking, and playing piano for his local church.

Dr. Paije Hostetter graduated with honors as a Doctor of Optometry from the Kentucky College of Optometry in 2021. She was raised in North Jackson, OH and attended Jackson Milton High School before earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Youngstown State University in 2017. Dr. Hostetter’s primary goal is to provide the highest quality clinical care as possible, while building lasting relationships with her patients. When Dr. Hostetter isn’t caring for her patients, she enjoys a friendly game of basketball or volleyball, watching movies, and spending time with her husband, Bruce.

Cooking; Charcuterie; Fishing and hunting; Cars; Travel; Music; Good friends.

Dr. Houtkin is originally from New Jersey and completed his undergraduate studies at Temple University in Philadelphia. He received his Doctor of Optometry Degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago and went to San Antonio to fulfill a commitment with the Air Force. He is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association and is Board Certified with the American Board of Clinical Optometry. Dr. Houtkin is married to Deborah and they have four children and five grandchildren. He enjoys family gatherings, gardening and working with native Xeriscape plants. He has played accordion and trumpet from a very young age. Having spent over thirty years living in San Antonio, Dr. and Mrs. Houtkin are excited to be living here with the wonderful people of College Station. He is looking forward to many years of caring for their vision in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Dr. Andy received his undergraduate degree with honors from Virginia Tech. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, also with honors. His optometric career has included collaborating with some of the best optometrists in the nation, teaching, speaking at conferences, and blogging. He has spent most of his 25-plus year career helping thousands of patients live a healthy visual lifestyle. With the help of his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Howard, their clinic was named one of America’s Finest Optical Retailers by INVISION Magazine. The clinic also placed in Review of Optometry’s Office Design Contest. Dr. Andy enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, Rachel and Joseph. He enjoys fitness, the outdoors, and creative pursuits such as artistry and writing.
