How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? By specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases routine vision and eye health care, contact lenses, and laser refractive surgery consultation. I am also an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. And finally, I volunteer in multiple charity organizations including Relay for Life, Race for the Cure, and the American Diabetes Organization. Hobbies/Interests: Attending Texas Tech sporting events, water sports, skiing, traveling, and spending time with family.

Dr. Jenny Fan is a dedicated optometrist with a strong foundation in both clinical and academic optometry. She completed her undergraduate education in Optometry at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. Dr. Fan has a particular interest in specialty contact lenses, including orthokeratology (ortho-k), scleral lenses, and myopia control. She is passionate about providing tailored vision solutions for patients with complex needs and helping to manage progressive myopia in children and young adults. She is also experienced in managing a variety of ocular conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic eye exams, and other chronic eye diseases. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Fan enjoys expressing her creativity through pottery and unwinding with a good drama series.

Dr. William Fan is a dedicated optometrist and a proud graduate of the New England College of Optometry. With a deep passion for vision care and ocular health, Dr. Fan has earned the prestigious Diplomate status from the American Board of Optometry, demonstrating his commitment to excellence in patient care and professional development. Dr. Fan brings a wealth of expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions, ensuring personalized and compassionate care for every patient. Whether conducting comprehensive eye exams, prescribing corrective lenses, or offering advanced treatment solutions, he is dedicated to improving vision and enhancing quality of life. His approach blends the latest clinical advancements with a patient-centered philosophy, making eye health accessible and effective. Outside of his practice, Dr. Fan stays at the forefront of the field through continued education and active involvement in professional organizations. His mission is to provide exceptional optometric care while fostering lasting relationships with his patients and community.

Dr. Fardink received a degree in chemistry from Princeton University and then graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Fardink focuses on specialty contacts, including scleral lenses and corneal (rigid) gas permeable lenses. He completed an advanced rotation with honors at the Case Western Reserve University Department of Ophthalmology, where he fit specialty contact lenses onto cornea transplant patients. He also completed an ocular disease rotation at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center, where he treated glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other ocular disorders. While an optometry student, Dr. Fardink co-founded OSU’s Contact Lens Advancement Society, of which he was also president, and served as vice president of OSU’s Private Practice Club. He is a former volunteer EMT and lead guitar player for The Band Keratopathy (an all optometry rock band). He lives with his wife, Christina, and their son, Emmett.

Dr. Fatima graduated with Magna Cum Laude from Benedictine University with Bachelors’ in Health Sciences. She then completed a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree with the Tomb & Key Honors Society and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society awards. Dr. Fatima became an eye doctor as she always wanted to be a healthcare professional as a child. Being a Doctor of Optometry allows her to be an essential part of her patients' healthcare team, making sure that they see better and have optimal health! Besides primary eye care, she enjoys myopia control/management, specialty contact lenses, treating eye diseases, and preventing glaucoma, among other conditions. When Dr. Fatima is not in the office, she enjoys reading, traveling, swimming, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Dr. Fazzary is from Watkins Glen, a small town in Upstate NY. She has made Charleston her home since 2016. She loves the low country for the beautiful beaches and variety of delicious food/restaurants. Dr. Fazzary attended Cornell University for undergraduate education, and graduated in three years. She graduated from the SUNY State College of Optometry in 2009, and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society for excellence in optometric education. Dr. Fazzary is also a past president of the local Coastal Carolina Optometric Society. Hobbies include having fun with her two dogs and going to live music events.

Dr. Feifke earned his first Optometry degree from the Witwatersrand Technicon in Johannesburg, South Africa. After teaching and practicing in South Africa for seven years, he emigrated to the US where he completed the Doctor of Optometry Program at the New England College of Optometry in Boston. Dr. Feifke believes in giving back and has been actively involved with VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity), both as a fundraiser and active participant in numerous missions to Nicaragua, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. Dr. Feifke is past president of the New England chapter of VOSH. Dr. Feifke is a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, as well as a member of both the American Optometric Association and the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists. In his spare time, Dr. Feifke is passionate about keeping fit and has run seven Boston Marathons. Due to a running injury, he has taken to bike riding and takes part in many biking events in New England and afar. His hobbies include gardening, playing chess with his sons and making that perfect espresso!

Dr. Feldberg attended the University of New Hampshire, where she graduated with a B.S. in Biology. She completed her doctorate of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. She is excited to practice in the town where she lives: beautiful Windham NH. Her hobbies include singing, playing the piano, walking in the woods, and traveling with her husband.

Undergraduate Education: Mercy College. Optometry School: University of Houston. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? I have been practicing Optometry for over 30 years. I believe my experience as a Board-Certified Therapeutic Optometrist has enabled me to continue to provide not only comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, contact lens fittings, and evaluations of binocular visual dysfunctions, but also, thorough diabetic eye evaluations and the treatment and management of various ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. I am also astute in providing therapeutic care for more acute conditions such as conjunctivitis and ocular trauma, such as removing a foreign object, such as metal flakes, out of the eye. Because of my genuine concern for my patient’s well being, I treat them as if they were my friend or family member. This allows the patient to feel comfortable with me and therefore confident in my ability to provide exceptional care. Hobbies/Interests: Learning the guitar, motorcycle riding, well, trike riding, playing with my dogs and hanging out with my family.

Dr. Stefanie Fernandez was born and raised in Westerly, RI before moving to North Carolina where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Elon University. After living in Durham, NC and working as a DNA lab technologist, Dr. Fernandez decided she wanted to help people in a more personal way. She then moved to South Florida to pursue her Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University and graduated as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. In her spare time, Dr. Fernandez enjoys exploring new places with her husband and spoiling their pet tortoise, Reggie.

Undergraduate Education: UNC-Charlotte. I enjoy providing personalized care to my patients and improving their lives by educating them on their ocular health as well as prescribing the best eyewear, contact lenses, or eye drops. My hobbies are spending time with my friend and family, running, and watching TV.

Dr. Anthony Paul Ficarra is an optometrist. He is a graduate from State University of New York College of Optometry. He completed his Fellowship and then served as a faculty member. Among the most cherished award he has gotten is the Florida’s Senator’s Proclamation by Senators Silver and Webster: Recognizing the outstanding contribution of Dr. Ficarra and Faculty at NOVA Southeaster College of Optometry in improving the lives of children in Florida for service provided to 10,000 at risk children and in-need children (that is a significant impact in the classroom, in the sports teams, improved FCAT scores, and decreased juvenile behavior problems). He has lectured and done blogs on Diabetes Eyecare. He enjoys playing soccer, traveling and volunteering. He has volunteered in Mexico, Honduras and in RAM clinics in Virginia. His motto is: Let us provide you with the best eyecare, at the right time, and at the right place.

The reason I became an optometrist is: I attended Indiana University thinking I wanted to become an accountant as I have two older brothers that are accountants, but I quickly realized I loved my science classes even more (biology and psychology). While playing flag football with my two older brothers, I met one of their college friends who was an optometrist. He invited me to come in for an eye exam (I had never had one and I was 20 years old) and I found out I needed glasses and had no idea. I loved that he was able to help me see better, and I decided that I wanted to do that for a living. The rest is history. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Helping them be able to enjoy life to its fullest by helping them see better and helping them find solutions if they suffer from eye disease. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my patients smile when I show them what their vision will be like with their new glasses or contacts. In my spare time, I enjoy: Running; Golfing; Bowling; Walking my dog Cooper (yellow lab); Hanging with my family; I coached little league baseball for several years in Fishers through the S.P.O.R.T.S. Organization; I served as a Boy Scout leader for several years.
