What does "video-assisted eye health exam" mean?
With a video-assisted eye health exam, you’ll receive a comprehensive eye health exam in-office, including preliminary testing with retinal imaging* and a prescription for glasses and/or contacts. With a technician in the room with you at all times, an optometrist will conduct your eye health exam in a state-of-the-art office via two-way audio and video. In fact, your optometrist will be able to conduct your full exam remotely, just as if they’re in the room with you. You and your optometrist will be able to discuss your eye health and any questions you may have throughout the exam.
Your video-assisted exam may be covered by insurance and costs the same as a traditional eye exam.
