Dr. Benjamin Warta completed his bachelor’s degree in Biology and Life Sciences at Kansas State University and received his Optometric Physician degree from NSUCO in Oklahoma. Dr. Warta was a member of the honor society Beta Sigma Kappa while completing his education and received the Phieffer Award as the top graduating clinician. He also has received honors for excellent clinical skill in contact lens fitting and for research in pediatrics and vision therapy. Dr. Warta is Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Warta feels it is important that he gets to know each patient so that he can custom design glasses, contact lens, and/or surgical options for each patient’s needs. Dr. Warta’s expertise includes specialty contact lens fitting; LASIK and refractive therapies; eye disease; high altitude dry eye therapy, children’s vision, and sports vision. Dr. Warta and his wife Erin enjoy traveling, skiing, and biking with their two children.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? I enjoy working with each patient as an individual to help them see and look their best by providing the best possible eyecare experience. Hobbies/Interest: Astronomy, hiking, camping, RV.

Dr. Allison Wasz is originally from Richmond, Virginia and has over a decade of experience in healthcare. While completing her Bachelor of Science degree, she also worked at a local optometry private practice in Virginia. Dr. Wasz then earned her Doctor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston; the oldest, continuously operating optometry school in the United States. While in Boston she completed clinical externships in ocular disease, glaucoma management, post-operative cataract care, specialty contact lenses, and dry eye disease. Following graduation, she worked at Greene and Greene optometry in Watertown, Massachusetts. Dr. Wasz is now thrilled to practice in Chandler where she plans to spend weekends hiking, stargazing, and enjoying all of the wonderful nature of Arizona. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, thorough eye care to help patients maintain vision through every stage of life.

Undergraduate Education: Georgia Southern University BS. Optometry School: Southern College Of Optometry; 1977. Professional Achievements and Associations: Member of The Georgia Optometric Association, The American Optometric Association, Omega Delta Optometric Fraternity. Clinical Certifications and Specialties: Specialties in Anterior Segment Disease and in Contact Lens Specialty fitting. The reason I became an optometrist is: I was inspired by my hometown optometrist. He was a great eye doctor who loved his patients and the profession. My favorite part of helping my patients is: solving their vision issues and bringing a smile to their face. In my spare time, I enjoy: golfing, indoor rowing, and spending time with my family.

Dr. Watson studied Chemistry at the University of Kentucky for 3 years before gaining early acceptance into optometry school in Memphis, TN. While in school she trained at Bennett and Bloom Eye Centers based in Louisville, KY and the Eye Care Center - a group of private practices based in Richmond, KY. She graduated with her doctorate degree from the Southern College of Optometry in spring of 2017. Dr. Watson's interests include spending time with her church family and cheering on the CATS with her husband, Steven.

The fact that I am able to improve, repair and sometimes save the most critical human sense of sight. How are you helping patients live their best lives? By providing competent, convenient, comfortable, cutting-edge eye care and vision solutions for people of all walks and hobbies. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? It means going above and beyond patient expectations and providing service, healthcare and products they did not know before. How are you impacting your local community? I founded a local program in Klein ISD along with Essilor Vision Foundation to provide free exams and glasses to title 1 school. Hobbies/Interests: Hunting, Fishing, Target/Skeet Shooting, Skiing, Reading, Church (Faithbridge), Mission Work

Undergraduate Education: I graduated from Albright College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biology. Optometry School: I received my Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2017. Professional Achievements and Associations: I am currently a member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. I am also a member Beta Sigma Kappa, the International Optometric Honor Society and Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology. Clinical Certifications and Specialties: I have a special interest in detecting and treating dry eye disease. Dry eye disease is a multifactorial disease that is caused by many different things. Today we have lots of new technology which aids in the treatment and management of dry eye disease. I strive to make all my dry eye patients as comfortable and happy as I can. The reason I became an optometrist is: My father and grandfather were both successful optometrists. From the time I was in middle school I worked in my father’s office, and I continued working there until I left for Albright College. It was during these formative years that I developed a passion for optometry and vision care. My favorite part of helping my patients is: As an optometrist I enjoy helping patients in any way that I can, whether that be treating eye diseases, providing eyeglasses or contact lenses, educating patients on their ocular condition, helping patients with their visual needs both at home and at work, or just answering questions that patients may have about their eyes. In my spare time, I enjoy: In my spare time I enjoy playing with my dogs Hamilton and Winry, playing golf with my father, reading, working on puzzles, and spending quality time with my husband.

I enjoy giving patients a relaxed, friendly exam experience while teaching them easy and effective ways to keep their eyes happy and healthy. How are you helping patients live their best lives? By giving them professional eye care in a warm and friendly environment. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? Ensuring that every patient knows that their visual needs, health, and wellness are our top priority. How are you impacting your local community? My family and I routinely volunteer and donate to local charitable organizations, like the Brevard Backpack Project and XL106.7's Baby DJ toy drive. In my spare time, I enjoy: attending sporting events and concerts.

Since graduating from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1973, Dr. Weisman has made it his passion to provide the very best family oriented eyecare and high end luxury eyewear possible. Shortly after graduating, he opened his own optical boutique in Buffalo, New York and operated there for about four years before migrating to Tucson, Arizona. In 1982, Dr. Weisman opened his own local optical boutique that has transformed today into Optical Image by Dr. Weisman. In 2001, Dr. Weisman expanded his local footprint from his Tucson Mall boutique, and opened a second boutique at the Park Place Mall. Dr. Weisman is also a member of the Arizona Optometric Association. Dr. Weisman is a people person. He takes all the time needed to be completly thorough. He specializes in refraction, which allows him to provide you with the most accurate prescription possible. Dr. Weisman has a tremendous patient following as a side effect of his efficient and outstanding optometry services. Fun fact; are you seeing double? Dr. Weisman has a identical twin brother that happens to also be an Optometrist operating an optical of his own in New York.

I do my best to treat every patient the way I would want to be treated and to help them achieve their vision needs. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? Ensuring the happiness and satisfaction of all patients. Hobbies/Interests: My hobbies include cooking/baking, traveling, knitting, and taking advantage of the outdoor activities our area has to offer.

The reason I became an optometrist is: I was always interested in medicine as I come from a family involved in all aspects of the medical field. When I was in college, I originally planned on going into research but realized I enjoyed the personal aspect of patient care. Optometry combines my interest in science and vision with the enjoyment of helping new people every day. My favorite part of helping my patients is: My favorite part of the patient experience is sharing my knowledge of how the eye allows us to see the world around us. In my spare time, I enjoy: In my spare time I enjoy watching live music, going hiking and camping, and spending time with my family.

In my spare time, I enjoy my grandchildren, being a sports fan, traveling, hiking, and cycling. The reason I became an optometrist is: Improve patients’ lives by giving them the best vision and eye health. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Giving a child their first pair of glasses and then hearing how much it helped improve their school performance. In my spare time, I enjoy: Golf, watching my daughter play tennis and spending time with my family, dog, and cats.
