I completed my undergraduate studies at East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) before earning my Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Following graduation, I pursued advanced training through an ocular disease residency at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner Salisbury Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. Outside of optometry, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, fruit picking, and discovering new restaurants with my husband.

Dr. Vardiman earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Arcadia University in 2021 and in 2025 graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Throughout her clinical training, she completed externships in both ocular disease and contact lens clinics, including a rotation at the Lyons Veterans Affairs Medical Center in NJ. There, she developed significant expertise in the diagnosis and management of conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and low vision. Her clinical excellence was recognized with honors during her externship rotations. Dr. Vardiman is passionate about both medical and routine eye care, and takes particular interest in Ocular disease and building lasting relationships with her patients. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Optometric Association. Outside of her profession, she enjoys spending time with her dog and participating in group fitness classes. She is excited to begin this next chapter of her life as a new resident of Boston.

Dr. Vaughn is a graduate of the University of Houston were he obtained his Doctorate of Optometry and his Bachelors in Biology. Dr. Vaughn is trained in the diagnosis and management of ocular conditions, systemic diseases that affect the visual system, glaucoma, specialty contact lens fittings, low vision, and laser vision evaluations with the Laser Eye Center of Lubbock. Dr. Vaughn has received honors including two clinical letters of excellence, the Dr. Richard Ebling Excellence Award in Medically Necessary Contact Lenses, and Gold Key International Optometric Honor society for his service to the college and the community. In November 2014 after completing five clinical case reports and a thorough oral examination administered by a panel of leading optometrists, Dr. Vaughn became a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Vaughn is a member of the South Plains Optometric Society, Texas Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Vaughn is trained in the diagnosis and management of low vision. He has dedicated many hours to understanding the best way to maximize functional vision while demonstrating compassion and attentiveness to his patients. Dr. Vaughn obtained his training from the University of Houston College of Optometry where he completed two rotations dedicated to low vision. At Ginter Eyecare Center we understand that there is a tremendous need to provide services for the visually impaired and we are here to help. He and his wife, Leslie, a registered oncology nurse and west Texas native have a son, Ryder and a daughter, Olivia. In his spare time he enjoys attending sporting events, playing basketball, golf, reading, and the arts. Dr. Vaughn is a passionate volunteer and enjoys serving his community in every way possible.

Dr. Jodi Vaughn completed her undergraduate studies at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry-now part of Salus/Drexel University in Philadelphia. She then fulfilled a residency in ocular disease at the Baltimore Veterans Medical Center in Maryland. Dr. Vaughn has called the Richmond area home for more than twenty years. She has spent the past few years caring for patients at Nilsen Eye Care and is excited to continue serving both new patients and longtime friends as part of the MyEyeDr family. Outside the office, Dr. Vaughn thoroughly enjoys life each day with her husband, Christian, and daughter, Anna. Don't be surprised if you see her onstage-performing in local musical theater productions.

Dr. Thomas Vaxmonsky completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh in 1984 with a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience. He continued his education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (1988) and advanced education through residency in Pediatrics and Infant vision at SUNY Optometry (1989). While at PCO he attained High Honors with rotations in Pediatrics, Primary Care and Medical Optometry. He moved to Maryland to practice optometry in the College Park area with his practice specializing in contact lenses and medical eye care then later joined MyEyeDr in 2021. He maintains the highest level of Therapeutic Optometric licensing in Maryland. Dr. Vaxmonsky has co-authored in Archives of Ophthalmology and Review of Optometry and spent time volunteering with One Sight providing eye care to underprivileged and special needs children and adults in Prince George's County. Dr. Vaxmonsky lives with his wife Jen and daughter Christianne in Howard County while daughter Payton and son Will are away in college. He enjoys many outdoor activities from ultimate frisbee, running, fishing, bow hunting and mountain biking.

I want to ensure that all my patients receive the best care possible from the moment they walk into the office. Hobbies/Interests: My hobbies include crocheting, planting, and running. Also, I can’t resist visiting local coffee shops in search of a good chai latte.

What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? Really listening to what my patients share with me and finding innovative solutions to achieve the happiness and satisfaction that good vision can provide. I enjoy the daily interactions with the staff and patients I am lucky enough to work with. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband, our 3 children and our beloved dog. My hobbies include cooking, reading, yoga, tennis, skiing and playing ice hockey. I am a huge movie aficionado and love to be in the movie theater watching any film on the big screen.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? By using the latest technology and listening to my patient’s concerns I deliver superior patient eyecare. I specialize in contact lens fittings, and the diagnosis and treatment of and management of eye disease, eye infections, and eye emergencies. Hobbies/Interests: I am married and have three children and three grandchildren. I enjoy yoga, growing orchids, baking, and spending time with my family.

Professional Achievements and Associations: Member of AOA, COA, DMOS. The reason I became an optometrist is: I love to help people and have a positive impact on their lives. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Getting to know their entire family and helping them improve their lives by providing the best vision and eye care. In my spare time, I enjoy: Running, reading and spending time with my husband and three boys.

Professional Achievements and Associations: Chief EENT Clinic McDonald Army Hospital, Private practice in Virginia for 34 years, Fellow of the Virginia Academy of Optometry, Board of Director – Vision for the Poor, a non-profit eyecare collaboration with the goal of ending treatable blindness in Guatemala. Multiple eye mission trips to Central and South America. Clinical Focus and Specialties: Primary care, contact lenses, and disease management. Hobbies and Interest: Climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro – 19,340 feet. As a lifetime runner I’ve had the opportunity to achieve completing eight fifty plus mile runs (you can always do more than you think you can do), twelve 50K runs and numerous marathons. Still running the beautiful trails in the Augusta area, abet much slower and shorter distances.

Dr. Chris Vincent, an optometrist practicing at MyEyeDr. in Austin, Texas, has a passion for providing exceptional eye care. He embarked on a journey to fulfill his lifelong goal of becoming an optometrist after graduating from the University of Wyoming. He then obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. During his time at NSU College of Optometry, Dr. Vincent was selected to complete his specialty clinical rotations at renowned eye care institutions across the country. Alongside his doctoral studies, Dr. Vincent served as a research director and co-authored a clinical study focusing on simultaneous vision in bifocal contact lenses. Additionally, he was chosen to participate in the esteemed "Successful RGP Fitting" program sponsored by the RGP Lens Institute, where he was a finalist for Ed Bennett's RGP Scholarship. Dr. Vincent's commitment to professional growth and patient well-being led him to earn his Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry in 2007. In the same year, he was elected to the Colorado Board of Trustees, where he served as a Trustee for a two-year term. During his tenure, Dr. Vincent contributed as a clinical investigator for various ophthalmic industry companies. Driven by a desire to expand his horizons, Dr. Vincent relocated to Austin, Texas. It was during a family vacation to central Texas that the Vincent family fell in love with Austin and its vibrant community. Driven by a deep commitment to his patients' well-being, Dr. Vincent continues to provide comprehensive eye care services, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience to improve the eye and vision health of patients in the Austin area. Outside of his practice, Dr. Vincent cherishes his role as husband and father. He and his wife have two children, and they find immense joy in sharing their lives together.
