Dr. Leah Soll graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry. She was proud to serve veterans, cadets, and active service members and their families as she provided optometry services as an extern at the Veterans Hospital in Jamaica Plain and at West Point Military Academy. Originally from Clifton Park, New York, Dr. Soll is happy to be living in the Boston area again. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Ellie Somers grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin—Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2016. She earned her Doctor of Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry in 2020. She also received additional training at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center, Froedtert, the Medical College of Wisconsin, and Jorgenson Schulz and Associates Eyecare Center. Since starting her career as an optometrist, she has practiced in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Arizona. She serves as a board member for the Southern Arizona Optometric Society. In her free time, Dr. Somers enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her husband and great Dane.

Dr. Song is an optometrist who truly loves helping people see the world more clearly. Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, she moved to the United States in 2017 to pursue her dream of becoming an eye doctor. She completed her undergraduate studies at both Nova Southeastern University and Seoul National University of Science and Technology, and went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Dr. Song is known for her warm, patient-centered approach and for making people feel comfortable during their visits. Outside the clinic, she enjoys running, hiking, going to the gym, traveling, and discovering new music.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of Texas at San Antonio before pursuing his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Optometry. Ann Marie Spadafora, OD

About Ann Marie Spadafora, OD

Dr. Ann Spadafora has been providing comprehensive eyecare for over 25 years. She was awarded her Doctor of Optometry with High Distinction in 1993. Her studies offered her the opportunity to have rotations in Glaucoma management, Pediatric Eyecare, and Ocular Disease Management. Upon graduation from The Michigan College of Optometry (MCO), Dr. Spadafora enjoyed providing comprehensive eyecare for all generations while practicing at Henry Ford Optimeyes. This was especially true as she participated in the Infant See Program and provided eye care throughout Southeast Michigan with the Nursing Home Eyecare Group. In 2004, she was given the opportunity to practice at Ruijin University Hospital in Shanghai, China. She was the lead Optometrist for this internationally ranked hospital’s Eyecare Center. Upon returning to the States, she continued practicing at Henry Ford Optimeyes and served the Detroit community at their Main Campus. She is honored to continue Dr. Zak’s legacy in serving Clarkston and the surrounding neighborhoods for over 30 years. Dr. Spadafora’s husband, Paul, and her two daughters enjoy the time they spend biking and cheering on their Clarkston High School Wolves. Dr. Ann M. She graduated from the Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in May of 2020. Accomplishments include Optometric Student Association Member of the Year 2017-2018, Bausch & Lomb Student Representative 2019, Transitions Optical Student Representative 2018, Optometric Student Association Class of 2020 Outstanding Student 2018-2019, and SOLN Leadership Conference Certificate of Completion 2018. Anthony Spencer, OD

About Anthony Spencer, OD

Dr. Spencer was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. He earned his Bachelor of Business degree in 1992 from Texas Christian University. He attended the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. After receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2006, he went on a VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) trip to provide free eye exams and glasses to the underserved in the Dominican Republic. He recently retired from the United States Air Force where he practiced as an Optometrist for nine years. He participated in two military medical humanitarian trips; one to the Arctic Circle in northern Alaska and the other to the Kingdom of Tonga in the South Pacific. His wife, Ruth, is also retired from the United States Air Force, and they are blessed with two sons and a daughter who attend Frenship ISD. Dr. Spencer is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and the South Plains Optometric Society. Dr. Spencer specializes in Glaucoma/Therapeutic Optometry, Specialty Contact Lenses, Family Vision and Laser Vision Evaluations with the Laser Eye Center of Lubbock.

Dr. Michael Spuller earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan, before completing his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered eye care with an emphasis on both routine and advanced ocular management. Dr. Spuller practices full-scope primary care optometry, providing comprehensive eye exams and managing a wide range of ocular conditions. He has extensive experience in glaucoma care, including diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management. In addition, he specializes in custom specialty contact lens fitting, including scleral lenses, rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses, and hybrid lenses. He works closely with patients who have complex corneal conditions such as keratoconus, those who have undergone corneal transplants, and individuals with other eye diseases requiring customized visual solutions to improve vision and comfort. Outside of the office, Dr. Spuller enjoys staying active through pickleball and working out, and he finds balance and creativity in baking and cooking. He is a devoted husband and is grateful for the constant support and encouragement of his wife. Together, they enjoy life with their daughter, two cats, and one dog.

She graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry after completing her dual degrees in Science and Biology. She grew up in the south and loves warm weather and outdoor activities. She moved to Michigan upon marrying her husband, and they have two beautiful daughters. Dr. Chumbler and her family enjoy Michigan’s change of seasons and cheering on our Detroit Lions. She is very active with her daughters’ travel volleyball and softball teams and her family is often found enjoying the tree lighting in our community with their daughters singing in the Christmas choir.
