Dr. Ryann Roles was raised in the rural town of Noble, Oklahoma. Upon graduation from Noble High School, she attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Science. She continued her studies at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry where she graduated as a Doctor of Optometry in 2022. Dr. Roles is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Arkansas Optometric Association. When not in the office, Dr. Roles enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their two dogs.

The reason I became an optometrist is: I had trouble reading as a child (I hated reading because the words became blurry and doubled). Once I received glasses, my reading problems went away! In college I worked as a technician for optometry/ophthalmology and realized there were so many ways to use eye care and eye health to make a difference in people’s lives. My favorite part of helping my patients is: I enjoy curating a personalized plan with each patient. Each person has different needs and I believe it’s important to honor those. I want my patients to feel like they can depend on me to have their best interest in mind. In my spare time, I enjoy: Spending time with my family and friends, exercising, yoga, being in nature and painting (even though I’m not any good at it).

My favorite part of helping my patients is watching a patient's reaction when they see the world through a pair of glasses for the first time. The way a person's face lights up when they can see clearly is priceless.

Vision is such a crucial part of our everyday lives, and improving someone's sight can profoundly impact their quality of life. The reason I became an optometrist is: Optometry is the one form of medicine that impacts the quality and function of one's day to day routine. It allows me to know patients on a personal level, to know what their likes/dislikes are. I can tailor prescriptions to specific jobs or hobbies from a clarity and comfort standpoint. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Getting to know them on a personal level. These connections allow me to give the best care possible because everyone has unique wants and needs for their jobs or hobbies. In my spare time, I enjoy: Mostly spending time with my growing family. Also enjoys traveling to all 50 states and watching sports. Dr. Jeanne Ruff is an optometrist practicing primary eye care, which involves prescribing glasses and contact lenses and diagnosing and treating eye disease. Dr. Ruff encourages vision wellness and a patient’s best vision possible; she discusses diagnosis and treatment plans to ensure trust and understanding of patient eye care needs. Originally from Miami, Florida, Dr. Ruff received her Bachelor of Science in Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. After nearly 10 years in private practice in Williamsburg, Virginia, she joined Myeyedr in 2016. Her hobbies include painting, cycling, traveling, and watching the Miami Dolphins.

Undergraduate Education: A native of North Carolina; Dr. Russell completed his undergraduate studies at Winston-Salem State University (WSSU); with a BS degree in Biology and Chemistry Minor. Optometry School: He completed his Doctor of Optometry studies at Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Elkins Park, PA in the graduating class of 2018. Professional Achievements and Associations: In addition to providing routine comprehensive and contact lens eye exams; Dr. Russell holds a special interest in providing care and management for Glaucoma, Diabetic, and Low-Vision patients. One of the highlights of his budding career has been helping to save a 17-year male’s “quality of life” after uncovering a neurological disorder and immediately referring him to Neurology for diagnostic scans and subsequent surgery for resolution. Clinical Certifications and Specialties: Dr. Gabriel Russell OD is a nationally board-certified Optometrist who holds state board certifications in both Pennsylvania, and Georgia where he currently resides. A native of North Carolina; Dr. Russell holds a special interest in providing care and management for Glaucoma, Diabetic, and Low-Vision patients. National Board Certification for Injections. The reason I became an optometrist is: To give every Patient that I have the honor to see the gift of clearer vision and knowledge not only of the eyes but holistically to help them do their part in preserving that vision. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Improving their quality of living through their visual needs. In my spare time, I enjoy: Outside of the office he balances work with spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, and playing soccer.
