Dr. Thao Ngo is a dedicated optometrist with over seven years of experience in ocular diseases, dry eye management, and comprehensive eye care. She specializes in pre-and post-operative care for refractive surgery. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Baylor University and her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Rosenberg School of Optometry. Dr. Ngo has worked in several private practices, a laser refractive surgery center, and an ophthalmology clinic in the DFW area. She strives to provide exceptional patient care and communication, helping every patient have the best possible vision. In her free time, Dr. Ngo enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pug, Otis. She loves trying new recipes, traveling, and Lagree fitness.

Dr. Nguyen is a Louisiana native who now proudly calls Texas home. Since earning her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2018, she has been dedicated to serving the Dallas metroplex with compassionate and comprehensive eye care. Dr. Nguyen completed her Doctorate of Optometry at the Rosenberg School of Optometry at the University of the Incarnate Word, following her undergraduate studies at Baylor University. Her passion for eye care began in second grade when she first wore glasses—an experience that transformed how she saw the world. That early impact was so profound that she even wore prescription swim goggles throughout her years in competitive club swimming. While in optometry school, Dr. Nguyen discovered that not all patients can achieve 20/20 vision due to underlying vision-threatening ocular conditions. This realization sparked a deep interest in ocular disease and motivated her to pursue advanced training in the field. She completed clinical internships at the Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center in Amarillo and Eye Centers of Texas in Houston, where her passion for diagnosing and managing complex eye conditions solidified her career direction. Over the years, Dr. Nguyen has worked closely with ophthalmologists throughout the metroplex, expanding her clinical expertise in a wide range of ocular health areas. Her professional interests include anterior segment disease, cataract management, dry eye treatment, glaucoma, refractive surgery co-management, and macular degeneration. Dr. Nguyen is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and an active member of the Texas Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and currently serves on the board of the Northeast Texas Optometric Society. Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling the world and experiencing new cultures alongside her fiancé.

Hobbies/Interests: Traveling, hiking, going to concerts, and baking.

By providing comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, diabetic eye exams, contact lens fitting, and ocular disease management. Hobbies/Interests: Spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Ollie.

Languages: English, Vietnamese Dr. Haley Nguyen was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She later obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Texas at Austin.  She then returned to Houston to attend the University of Houston College of Optometry where  she was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and received her doctorate of optometry and graduated Magna cum Laude in 2020. She completed her first clinical rotation at a large private practice clinic where she had the opportunity to utilize the newest and latest state-of-the art technologies to provide personalized and quality vision care. Her second rotation was at Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas where she focused heavily on the management and treatment of ocular diseases and conditions. Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, being on the lake or by the beach, and exploring new dining experiences. She is happy to be back in Austin!

Dr. Phillip Nguyen is a native Arizonan, having grown up in Glendale, AZ. He studied biology at Arizona State University and pursued his Doctor of Optometry degree at Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry. In his free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys sports, trying new restaurants, and traveling. Dr. Nguyen is very excited to deliver comprehensive eye care to the East Valley area.

The reason I became an optometrist is: From early in my adulthood, I have always been fascinated with the optometry field. Since entering school, it has always been my goal to be in this wonderful field. Shortly after college, I spent some time as an intern at a local eye specialist office where I got even more inspirations to become an Eye Doctor. I became an Optometrist because I wanted to be of service to people - to help them see and feel better and provide an overall observation of their health by looking through their eyes. Ultimately, for me, helping our patients feel better about their vision is at the core of why I am an Optometrist today. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Seeing the smiles on our patient's faces knowing their vision is 100% better after our eye exams. Another favorite for me, is being able to connect with our patients over time and hearing personal stories of their journeys - understanding that we're all from 'different walks of life. In my spare time, I enjoy: In my spare time, I enjoy playing with our one-year-old daughter, Leilani. We love playing at the park and teaching her how to speak Vietnamese and Tagalog. We also enjoy spending time with our family and our 13-year-old Beagle named Bailey.

Undergraduate Education: James Madison University, Bachelor's of Biology; Optometry School: Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University); Professional Achievements and Associations: AOA, MOA; The reason I became an optometrist is because I have always enjoyed interactions with people and believed that I can go to school, train and make a small difference. In my spare time, I enjoy taking Orange Theory classes, running, cooking, reading, home remodeling, and new experiences when time permits. My favorite part of helping my patients is talking to my patients. When patients share their vision/medical concerns and personal stories, I can understand, empathize and better assist in giving them the best vision and recommendations. I appreciate seeing the same patients every year and and getting an update on their journey.

Dr. Vanessa Nguyen is an optometrist practicing at MyEyeDr. in Arlington, TX. With over a decade of experience in the field, she specializes in providing comprehensive eye care services and is dedicated to enhancing her patient's eye health and vision. Dr. Nguyen's journey began as an immigrant to the United States. Born in Vietnam, she and her family fled their home country in search of a better life. After spending time in a refugee camp in the Philippines, they eventually settled in the United States. Driven by her parents' sacrifices, Dr. Nguyen embraced the opportunities before her, excelling in her education and becoming a trailblazer within her family. She earned her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston in 2006 and pursued an internship focusing on pre- and post-operative surgical care, as well as primary eye care in Dallas. Dr. Nguyen holds a license as a Therapeutic Optometrist and is board-certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Nguyen's professional experience encompasses a diverse range of practices, including retail, ophthalmology, and private practice. Throughout her career, she has gained knowledge in diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, keratoconus, and infections. What sets Dr. Nguyen apart in the industry is her holistic approach to eye care. She believes in building strong relationships with her patients, and taking the time to truly listen to their concerns and needs. By fostering a deep connection, she establishes a solid foundation of trust, ensuring her patients receive personalized and compassionate care. Dr. Nguyen draws inspiration from her mother, who exemplified the qualities of a dedicated and hardworking parent. She instilled in Dr. Nguyen the values of perseverance and kindness, which she carries into her practice and personal life. Dr. Nguyen's guiding philosophy is simple yet powerful: "Be good." Dr. Nguyen is a local New Orleanian who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana. She then attended Nova College of Optometry in South Florida where she received her Bachelor of Vision Science and doctorate degree. Dr. Nguyen believes that vision is essential for special moments that we cherish, as well as activities that we go about daily. She thrives to protect her patients’ vision so they can continue to experience their lives to the fullest. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and trying different types of cuisines.....

Dr. Victoria Nguyen was born and raised in Central Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida before moving to Downers Grove, Illinois, to pursue her Doctor of Optometry at Midwestern University Chicago College of Optometry. With a strong foundation in the latest advancements in vision science, Dr. Nguyen is dedicated to delivering personalized, comprehensive eye care. She takes pride in helping each patient not only see more clearly but also gain a better understanding of their eye health. Dr. Nguyen enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and is committed to making each visit a comfortable, informative experience. Outside the office, Dr. Nguyen loves spending time with family and friends, discovering new restaurants, and traveling to new places.

Undergraduate Education: Butler University, Bachelor's of Science in Biological Sciences; Optometry School: Indiana University, School of Optometry; Professional Achievements and Associations: American Optometric Association, North Carolina Optometric Association, South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association, Piedmont Optometric Society (NC), Catawba Optometric Society (SC); The reason I became an optometrist is because I have been wearing glasses or contacts since age 7 and, like many children, did not know what I couldn’t see until I got my first pair of glasses. I wanted to make a positive impact on others and help improve their quality of life, as my childhood optometrists did for me! In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my family. My favorite part of helping my patients is helping patients live their best lives through good vision and providing education about their eyes. It’s very gratifying to fit a patient- either young or young at heart- in glasses or contacts for the first time and watch them smile simply because they can see better!

Dr. Katrina Nichols is a native of Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ, and received her Doctorate at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA. Dr. Nichols was licensed by the Arizona State Board of Optometry and has been an Optometrist in Tucson for the past 6 years. Dr. Nichols specializes in comprehensive eye care with an emphasis on children’s vision, contact lenses, glaucoma, and co-management of refractive surgery. She is the past President of the Southern Arizona Optometric Society and is a current member of the American Optometric Association, Arizona Optometric Association, and Southern Arizona Optometric Society. She lives in Vail, AZ with her husband and 2 energetic boys. Her hobbies include snowboarding, running, biking, and playing with her children.
