About Ewing McClelland, OD

Dr. McClelland has practiced optometry for 15 years. From ophthalmology co-management to primary care, he provides thorough eye exams and vision solutions, offering a full range of eye care services, from eye pain and diabetic exams to eyeglasses and contact lenses. Dr. McClelland trained at the Southern College of Optometry, where he specialized in contact lens fitting. He uses the latest technology, but also considers every patient’s history and visual requirements. Dr. McClelland knows how important your vision is to your quality of life. ‘I see each patient as a person, not just another set of eyes,” he said. Raised in Pennsylvania, Dr. McClelland is a graduate of The University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. He is grateful to be raising his children in Fort Collins. They spend their free time enjoying beautiful Colorado’s parks, mountains, rivers and lakes.

Matthew McCourt, OD

“My fundamental interest in optometry was rooted based on healthcare. That interest grew into a passion for providing patients with optimal visual health with the goal of improving their quality of life. I believe that individualized care, coupled with clear communication, will not only help each patient reach their visual goals but also build a trustworthy doctor-patient relationship. I truly enjoy getting to know each patient I meet and look forward to working with anyone who I see for their next eye exam. Outside of work, I like exploring state and national parks, camping, exercising and playing golf.” Dr. McCourt grew up in rural Alberta, Canada, and graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada, where he received an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. Following undergrad, he travelled south of the border after being accepted into the Arizona College of Optometry. Dr. McCourt has experience providing high and low complexity exams for patients in several specialty clinics, such as Dry Eye, Myopia Control, Prosthetic Contact Lenses, Ophthalmology, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and Post-Operative Care. Dr. McCourt also had the privilege of managing and treating ocular diseases for the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs in northern Florida. Since then, Dr. McCourt has decided to return to Arizona to continue his optometric career.

Dr. McDaniel received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston in 1993. He is a therapeutic and glaucoma-certified OD to patients of all ages. As an eye doctor, Dr. McDaniel provides a wide variety of vision services, including prescribing glasses and contact lenses, vision therapy, diabetic eye exams, diagnosing and managing eye diseases, and more. When Dr. McDaniel is not seeing patients, he enjoys outdoor activities (cycling, hiking, etc.), traveling, and spending time with his wife and three children.

The reason I became an optometrist is: Since childhood, I always wanted to pursue a medical profession, and desired a setting where I could still prioritize raising a family. A family history of poor eyesight led me to pursue the eyes and vision as a particular field of study. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Giving them the knowledge and tools necessary to maximize vision and eye health so that they can succeed in daily life. In my spare time, I enjoy: Reading and spending time with my wife and kids and serving at my church.

I looked up and respected him and thought this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. To be able to help people see clearer and function better in this world is very fulfilling. In my spare time, I enjoy Crossfit, golf, and being with my wife! My favorite part of helping my patients is to be able to function better in their day to day activities.

Dr. Shah McDonough achieved a Bachelor of science degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Purdue University. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During her time there she also completed a second bachelor’s degree in Vision science and an internship with honors at the Tianjin Medical University eye clinic in Tianjin, China. Active in the professional community, Dr. Shah McDonough holds a membership with the Indiana Optometric Association. She is fluent in Gujarati, a dialect of India. Practicing a healthy lifestyle, Dr. Shah McDonough enjoys traveling, gardening, and hiking. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband and 2 sons. About Adia McDuffey, OD

Dr. McDuffey grew up as an Army brat, traveling extensively with her family. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the College of William and Mary, followed by a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Mississippi College. Dr. McDuffey then pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry. During her time there, she served as the President of the Student VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity), where she planned and participated in mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Panama. She was also the Student Liaison for the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. In recognition of her dedication, she received the U.S. Army Health Professions Scholarship Program and was direct commissioned as a Captain in the U.S. Army, serving in optometry as well as in Health Services Administration. Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. McDuffey enjoys taking walks with her dog, exploring local coffee shops, and traveling to new destinations.
