Dr. Kingsolver earned her Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science in 2009 from Xavier University. She then proceeded to Illinois College of Optometry to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2013. Dr. Kingsolver completed externships at The University of Chicago Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine, Jesse Brown VA in Chicago, IL and at Visionary Eye Care in Chicago, IL. She has additional experience providing comprehensive exams and binocular vision evaluations for children in Chicago Public Schools. Dr. Kingsolver's areas of interest include primary care, binocular vision, and pediatrics.

Clinical Certifications and Specialties: I practice general optometry with an emphasis on contact lenses. The reason I became an optometrist is: I became an optometrist to follow in my father's footsteps. Growing up, I saw how he enhanced people's lives by improving their vision. I also like fact that optometrists are primary health care providers. We are often the first to diagnose diseases like diabetes or high blood pressure and able to refer patients to their general practitioner for treatment. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Designing specialty prescriptions to help patients with their hobbies or unique job applications. In my spare time, I enjoy: Woodworking, carpentry, oil painting, pen and ink drawings, building guitars, and photography.

David Kleim, OD

Dr. Kleim is originally from California and received a BA and MA from California State University, Fresno. Before becoming an optometrist, Dr. Kleim received a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He was a Psychologist at Fort Hays State University in Kansas where he taught graduate courses for clinical and school psychology as well as supervising students in clinical practicum. Dr. Kleim is a 1994 graduate from Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK. He practices general optometry with an emphasis on contact lenses and ocular pathology. Dr. Kleim is licensed to treat ocular diseases, including glaucoma, red eyes, and medical eye disorders. Dr. Kleim is also certified to provide pre- and postoperative care for cataract and laser vision surgery (LASIK). Dr. Kleim is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. American Board of Optometry (ABO) board certification is a process that allows doctors of optometry to demonstrate that they exceed entry level requirements and are maintaining the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience to deliver quality eye care. Dr. Kleim and his wife, Dr. Stacy Riley, have three children, two of whom are in college. Their youngest child is in high school. Dr. Kleim enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and hiking in the Colorado mountains.
