What drives your passion for optometry? helping people see better one eye at a time. How are you helping patients live their best lives? Helping them see 20/20 without any headaches or eye strain. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? It makes me feel happy knowing that with the help of glasses or contacts I can make their life easier. Help them experience the important things in life. How are you impacting your local community? I often volunteer at local food bank and help fight hunger around the community. Hobbies/Interests: Basketball, swimming, trying new food, spending time with friends and family , trading stocks, traveling and exploring new places.

Dr. Nusrat Jahan received her bachelor’s degree in pharmacology from Stony Brook University. She pursued her Doctorate at the State of New York College of Optometry. She has completed various clinical rotations to expand her skill set, including rotations in ocular disease at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, and in specialty contact lenses at the University Eye Center in Midtown Manhattan. Dr. Jahan provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages with various ocular conditions. Dr. Jenkins received clinical training in ocular disease, dry eye management, pre- and post-operative care, and myopia management throughout her rotations. Dr. Jenkins is dedicated to delivering a patient-focused approach and improving the quality of visual health for all. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and channeling her energy in the gym and into her music as a pianist.
