Professional Achievements/Associations: Recipient of the VSP/AAOF practice excellence scholarship, Student Ambassador, member Texas optometric Association, American optometry Association, American Academy of optometry Association. Clinical Certifications & Specialties: Extern at practice that were heavily focused on Glaucoma and performed LPI and SLT on sever patients. Also did intense light pulse therapy, Punctal plugs and gland expressions on dry eyes along with treating vast variety of eye diseases. What drives your passion for optometry? helping people see better one eye at a time. How are you helping patients live their best lives? Helping them see 20/20 without any headaches or eye strain. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? It makes me feel happy knowing that with the help of glasses or contacts I can make their life easier. Help them experience the important things in life. How are you impacting your local community? I often volunteer at local food bank and help fight hunger around the community. Hobbies/Interests: Basketball, swimming, trying new food, spending time with friends and family , trading stocks, traveling and exploring new places.

Kat Ivanovic was born in Northwest Indiana, but has called Chicago home for nearly a decade. As a Doctor of Optometry, Kat believes “the eyes are the windows to your health.” Optometry is an artform Kat works at with precision, whether she is creating the perfect glasses prescription, assessing the ocular health of her patients, or providing professional patient care. She strives to deliver a detailed, comprehensive exam to each and every patient. When she’s not in the office, you can find Kat dancing her heart away at several of Chicago’s ballet studios. Life is full of beautiful performances, and Kat’s mission is to help audiences everywhere see the best performances they can.

Clinical Certifications and Specialties: scleral contact lenses. The reason I became an optometrist is: I've always had a natural curiosity in science and how the body works. My favorite part of helping my patients is: offering solutions to any problems they may come in with, and just having quality conversations about their everyday life. In my spare time, I enjoy: Kayaking, biking, pickleball, tennis, exploring new places with family and friends

I love helping people, and enjoy knowing that I can make a difference for my patients while doing what I love. In my spare time, I enjoy being with family, playing guitar, and paddle boarding with my dog and husband.

I get satisfaction every day from helping my patients understand their eyes or vision and they come away from the exam learning something new. How are you helping patients live their best lives? I help patients live their best lives by providing the latest proven technologies in eyecare, making improvements in vision throughout their lifetime. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? I believe a transformational eyecare experience involves sharing knowledge with my patients, so they learn something new about eye health and vision at every appointment. How are you impacting your local community? The biggest impact I have in the Holland area is providing prescription safety glasses for thousands of workers, allowing them to perform their best, which in turn impacts everybody that uses the products they manufacture. Hobbies/Interests: Fishing, Car mechanics, Wife and two boys.

Learning about each patient’s goals and/or hobbies to help tailor the exam to maximize vision and the overall eye health in all aspects of their lives. Hobbies/Interests: I love traveling, hiking, playing piano, and spending time with my growing family.

Ensuring the happiness and satisfaction of all patients. How are you impacting your local community? I am available and willing to help out any day of the week. Dr. Nusrat Jahan received her bachelor’s degree in pharmacology from Stony Brook University. She pursued her Doctorate at the State of New York College of Optometry. She has completed various clinical rotations to expand her skill set, including rotations in ocular disease at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, and in specialty contact lenses at the University Eye Center in Midtown Manhattan. Dr. Jahan provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages with various ocular conditions. She strives to listen wholeheartedly to meet the needs of his patients and give them the family-like experience they deserve. Outside the office, Dr. Jahan enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Zachary James is from Rosemark, TN. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2019. Then, he received his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 2024. He joined the practice in 2024, and is trained in the treatment and management of ocular disease, post-operative eye care, contact lenses, and glasses. In his spare time, he is an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt, fish, and spend time with family and friends.

I enjoy traveling to underserved countries and providing care to people who've never had exams before. Giving someone glasses who have never had them and watching them see for the first time is amazing! How are you helping patients live their best lives? I enjoy helping people see their best and giving them the ability to keep performing the tasks and hobbies that are the most important to them. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? It means taking the time to listen to you patients, answer their questions and make sure they are comfortable with the decisions we are making to improve their vision together. How are you impacting your local community? giving to local schools, charities and spending time getting to know my community playing sports and volunteering. Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy playing a variety of sports, rock climbing, traveling, and spending time playing games with friends and family.

We can typically fix the patients vision problems quick, and the patients leave the office happy. How are you helping patients live their best lives? By making them see better and feel more confident. How are you impacting your local community? I provide mobile eye care to patients in nursing homes. Many of them can’t leave the location so we go to them. Hobbies/Interests: Biking, hiking , dancing.

Most of our lives are perceived through our sense of sight, it’s an honor to be a part of caring for and maintaining the vision of the patients. How are you helping patients live their best lives? By assessing patient eyecare needs and taking into account their occupation, hobbies, and other visual demands. Hobbies/Interests: Time with my family, photography, traveling, fitness, food/culinary experiences-- I'm a bit of a foodie.

My favorite part of helping my patients is helping patients to see better and being part of the community.

Dr. Sherrall Jenkins earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Tougaloo College and later her Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Mississippi. Dr. Jenkins’ academic path continued to Kentucky College of Optometry where she obtained her Doctorate while being an active leader in student organizations and community involvement. Dr. Jenkins received clinical training in ocular disease, dry eye management, pre- and post-operative care, and myopia management throughout her rotations. Dr. Jenkins is dedicated to delivering a patient-focused approach and improving the quality of visual health for all. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and channeling her energy in the gym and into her music as a pianist.
