Dr. Latham grew up in Houston, and after graduating from Optometry School moved to Bedford in June of 1982. He opened his own practice four months later in October 1982 and has taken care of the eye care needs of Northeast Tarrant County for 35+ years. Dr. Latham is board certified by the American Board of Optometry. He is involved in his church, Countryside Bible Church, and in his free time he spoils his grandchildren and enjoys studying history and aviation.

Optometry School: University of Alabama Birmingham, 1998 How are you helping your patients live their best lives? By providing patients personalized eye care based upon their needs. I provide comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, diabetic eye exams, and manage ocular diseases. Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons exploring our beach community, boating, and fishing too.

Dr. Nazanin Latifi attended George Mason University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Latifi resides in Northern Virginia, and has enjoyed providing eye care to her patients in MD and VA for the past decade. She is passionate about her career, music, dancing, nature, and spending time with her husband and two kids.

Undergraduate: Indiana University Bloomington Optometry School: Midwestern University, Chicago College of Optometry My goal is to provide a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment for patients to receive proper eye care. Building a relationship with the patient is fundamental in diagnosing and treating the patient’s needs. Hobbies/Interests: Traveling with my fiancé, trying new types of foods, and doing yoga.

As our population ages optometrists need to step up and treat both vision and medical disorders involving the eyes. My favorite part of helping my patients is seeing the same patients year after year and knowing that they trust me with their lifelong vision needs. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, movies, golf, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? I work with many school-aged children to get the glasses they need to develop appropriate vision as they age into adulthood. My focus is also in ocular diseases, such as diabetic eye care, glaucoma, and specialty contact lens fitting. Hobbies/Interests: Cooking, baking, hiking, traveling.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? Dr. Leary specializes in dry eye treatments, contact lens evaluations, and the treatment of non-surgical eye diseases. He is certified in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease. Dr. Leary enjoys seeing families, children, and positively affecting people's lives by giving them the best possible vision correction. Dr. Leary has volunteered locally with the Lions club and is a co-founder of the Greater Columbus Optometric Association where he serves as president. He is a Georgia native. Hobbies/Interests: He enjoys time spent with his family, enjoys nature, sports and working on mechanical things.

Undergraduate Education: Attended UNC-CH. Optometry School: Received OD degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? Provide comprehensive eye care to children and adults including eyeglass and contact lens corrections, addressing acute medical eye problems and injuries, and management of ocular complications of general systemic medical conditions. Hobbies/Interest: Enjoy boating, fishing, camping, and other travel with family and Willie our black lab.

Dr. Lee completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin in 2002. He then pursued his lifelong passion of being an optometrist and graduated from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico College of Optometry in 2008. Afterward, he moved to New Jersey and completed a residency program in ocular disease and primary care at the Eye Care Center of New Jersey in 2009. Dr. Lee enjoys being active and likes to play basketball and tennis.

Dr. Nyok “Alan” Lee, O.D. is a licensed Optometric Glaucoma specialist and is therapeutically certified. He graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. During his clinical education, he completed his externships at Veterans Affairs and Codman Square Community Health Center where he gained valuable experience in diagnosing and management of various ocular diseases including cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. He also completed his primary care rotation with EyeTrends in the Woodlands and a cornea and specialty contact lens rotation with Global Vision Rehabilitation Center in Miami. Dr. Lee’s clinical interest is in the application of specialty contact lenses in the treatment of various corneal and ocular surface conditions including keratoconus, post-surgical corneas, and dry eyes. He also believes that having a healthy vision from an early age is key to success and enjoys working with the pediatric population. Dr. Lee applies a relaxed demeanor in patient encounters to foster a friendly doctor/patient interaction. Dr. Lee is recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Best Eye Doctors. In this free time, Dr. Lee enjoys longboarding, traveling, and spending time with his dogs. He considers Houston his home and enjoys exploring new aspects that the city continues to offer.
