The reason I became an optometrist is: help my patients see their best, and to further their health and well-being. My favorite part of helping my patients is: working with people. In my spare time, I enjoy: time with my family, also my furry friends. I am a CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocate) for a foster child in Howard County, Maryland. I'm an avid reader and book club member. I have fostered for a local animal shelter, and plan to continue with that.

In my spare time, I enjoy music, wood working, DIY projects, art, design, landscaping, gardening ,reading ,bicycling ,tennis, automotive projects, fishing, boating, and testing new gadgets. My favorite part of helping my patients is upgrading their vision potential.

Dr. Catherine Corrigan is dedicated to providing exceptional eye care with a passion for enhancing her patients’ vision and ocular health. She completed her undergraduate studies at St. Mary's College of Notre Dame before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, where she graduated at the top of her class. During her time there, she received two honorary awards in recognition of her excellence in patient care and clinical proficiency. Dr. Corrigan has been committed to optometry since an early age and takes great pride in helping her patients achieve clear, comfortable vision through comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and precise glasses prescriptions. She values building lasting relationships with her patients and ensuring they receive the best possible care. Outside of her practice, Dr. Corrigan enjoys taking long walks in nature, spending quality time with family and friends, and practicing her Catholic faith.

Ensuring the happiness and satisfaction of all patients. How are you impacting your local community? By educating patients of the importance of annual eye exams for the health of the eyes, not just updating their prescription. Hobbies/Interests: Spending time with my son, Colton, and the rest of my family.

Dr. Cosenza began his academic journey at Quinnipiac University, where he earned an Associate of Science degree. He was then offered early entry into the New England College of Optometry, where he completed his Bachelor of Optometry and Doctor of Optometry degrees. After completing his education, Dr. Cosenza practiced with Ophthalmology Associates PC for three years in Fairfield, CT. He then co-founded Vision Group with Dr. Robert Blake, expanding the practice to three offices. OptiCare PC, a Connecticut-based multidisciplinary eye care provider, later acquired Vision Group. Following the sale of Vision Group, Dr. Cosenza consulted and practiced with several optometric practices across Connecticut, primarily Professional Vision Center in Meriden. Over the past five years.he has served on staff at Eyecare Associates in Fairfield, CT, delivering high-quality patient care. Dr. Cosenza has now joined MyEyeDr, where he is excited to accept new patients at both the Fairfield and Westport locations. I have been providing comprehensive eye exams for both adults and children , as well as diabetic eye exams. Contact lens fittings and evaluations and ocular disease management. The reason I became an optometrist is: I am a people person and optometric physician is a good people/medical profession. Its not as intense as other medical professions and there is usually not as much pain distress for patients. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Solving a systemic problem or disease by listening to the patient carefully and observing the ocular finds. Love to be the first doctor to put the puzzle pieces together to help the patient solve a problem. In my spare time, I enjoy: Restoring old sports cars, Restoring vintage air streams, and motor coaches.

Undergraduate Education: Ferris State University. Optometry School: Michigan College of Optometry. When I was in fifth grade, I told my parent that I wanted to become an optometrist and I did! It is my passion to help people to see what they’ve been missing- at my office or serving under-privileged countries. The smile on a patient’s face when they see clearly for the first time is amazing. When the parent of a struggling child tells me their child is not as frustrated with school or an adult tells me they have an improved quality of life because they no longer suffer from headaches on workdays, it brings a smile to my face. When I’m not in the office, I can be found on my yoga mat, on Lake Michigan, with family or traveling.

Dr. Cove moved to Western PA after obtaining a Specialization Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Developmental Biology from the University of Alberta, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Portland, Oregon. Upon graduation she received three awards of distinction in Practice Management, Clinical Ethics and Exceptional Research. Dr. Cove has a particular interest in Sports Vision, and has previously partnered with the Nike Inc. Research and Design Team. Dr. Cove spends her time with her husband, two children and dog when she is not in the office. She is a sports enthusiast with a love of hockey and swimming

The reason I became an optometrist is: I decided on optometry at an early age in high school. I enjoyed science and got glasses/contacts at that time which sparked my own interest. I was taking a careers elective in high school and was able to shadow a local optometrist for the day. I was hooked from then on. I enjoyed the interaction with people plus the joy it brings people to see their very best for sometimes the first time. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Seeing them back year after year and the relationship that is built over time. I have seen children grow up and new additions to families and giving them their best sight brings a lot of joy for me. In my spare time, I enjoy: I have two daughters ,8 and 6, and we enjoy time together bike riding, hiking, and swimming. I also enjoy quality time with my family and close friends.

Challenges in helping patients achieve good vision and treating ocular pathology. How are you helping patients live their best lives? Achieving good vision with difficult cases such as keratoconus. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? I love being a part of taking a patient with a dense cataract to clear vision and very little spectacle rx needed. How are you impacting your local community? The patients here know me and appreciate what we do here in eye care. Hobbies/Interests: Golf, Flying, and, Hiking.

The reason I became an optometrist is: I find practicing Optometry to be both challenging and personally fulfilling when I can use my knowledge in math, physics, and medicine to help my patients achieve their best vision and maintain optimum eye health. My favorite part of helping my patients is: My favorite part of helping my patients is working with my team at Myeyedr. From the friendly greeting at the front desk check-in, to the excellent and competent data collection by the technician, to my part in analyzing the data collected to make sure the patient maintains their optimum eye health and listening to each patient's vision needs so that I can refract them to their best vision, to our very knowledgeable eyewear consultant who takes my refraction and recommendations and finds the best eyewear solution for each particular patient, we all work together to help each patient in seeing and looking their best! In my spare time, I enjoy: Reading, Music, Walking, Bicycling, Traveling.

I believe every patient deserves the best possible eyecare and I strive to give each and every patient a personalized approach to help solve the daily problems they face. When looking for a career that allowed me to explore my interests and include a balanced family life, optometry was a great choice. I love seeing and "maturing" with my patients year after year. My favorite part of helping my patients is that moment when you get "that grin" on a kiddo as they truly see the world around them for the first time. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and watching the Minnesota Vikings (the second part is enjoyable sometimes...).

By providing comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, diabetic eye evaluation and management, contact lens fitting, ocular disease management, as well as cataract and refractive surgery management. I also provide ocular emergency care such as foreign body removals. Hobbies/Interests: Camping/hiking, reading, spending time with my husband and rescue pups.
