Dr. Iqra Azam graduated from Rutgers University with a biology major. In 2022, she earned her Doctorate of Optometry from SUNY College of Optometry. Her area of special interest is primary care. She is excited to be serving the Westchester community and aims to provide her patients with personalized care for their individual needs.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my wife and spending time with family and friends. In addition, my wife and I have been the proud owners of Lupo's Italian Steakhouse for the past 14 years. My favorite part of helping my patients is improving their quality of life and relating to them on a personal level.

Optometrist with experience in pediatric, emergent, and case specific examinations. Four years of clinical experiences in comprehensive eye exams, including: diseases, contact lens services, visual therapies, evaluation/treatment of ocular pathology, and pre/post-operative surgical co-management. Ability to perform quick and efficient exams with communication of eye health, eye wear, and prescription advice to patients. A team player with additional clinical work experience as a front office, triage, phone room, and back office technician before optometry school. Possess the ability to handle all situations with ease and be able to transition for flow of office efficiently.

For me, being able to improve someone's vision while at the same time evaluating with their overall health was the key determinant in wanting to be an optometrist. In my spare time, I enjoy "Spending time with my wife, 2 daughters and family, traveling, reading, bible study, cooking, and sports/athletics. My favorite part of helping my patients is being able to improve their vision and evaluate overall health, but also making relationships with them and getting to know about their interests and families, etc.

Dr. Baisden has been practicing in the metro Milwaukee area for many years. He has experience in all aspects of eye care, and a kind caring chair-side manner. He, along with his wife, Amy, and son, Jacob enjoy going to sporting events, golfing, and fishing. He knew he wanted to practice Optometry at the young age of 12, and he knows he made the right decision! He He truly enjoys working with all patients – from small children to senior citizens and everyone in between.

Dr. Ashley Baker has a strong passion for eyecare, and her goal of becoming an optometrist was realized after completing over 10 years of field experience in several positions within the optical industry. Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, Dr. Baker provides quality eye care services to her community. Dr. Baker completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University. She specializes in pediatric examinations, treatment of dry-eye syndrome, and the fitting of contact lenses, treatment and management of ocular diseases, such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration, co-managing ocular surgeries (such as Lasik and cataract removal), and removal of foreign bodies. Dr. Baker believes in giving back to the city that she loves so much. Some of her contributions to the community are giving the gift of sight to children through the Oasis Project which is a foster care program. We also donate pre-loved glasses to our local Lions Club International to be reused for those who can’t afford adequate vision care. Her ultimate goal in small business is paying it forward and making a difference in the lives of local families. Outside the office, Dr. Baker stays very active. Some of the things she enjoys doing is spending quality time outdoors with her husband Viktor soaking up the sun at the beach and coaching baseball with her sons Jensen, Brooks, and baby Baylor.

Ensuring the happiness and satisfaction of all patients. How are you impacting your local community? Being a local optometrist for 29 years I have been active in our local chamber and school district. Hobbies/Interests: I love boating and I compete at Slalom water skiing.

The reason I became an optometrist is: I have a strong interest in science and health. Optometry combines both disciplines. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Letting patients know their eyes are healthy. In my spare time, I enjoy: Running 5K races, Reading, Walking my dogs.

Dr. Gerry Balski is an Ohio State University graduate who studied optometry at Nova Southeastern University. He prides himself in providing excellent eye care for both adults and children. Dr. Balski also enjoys basketball, traveling, and being a dad.

Dr. Rachel Baltazar (formerly Dr. Wang) graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree with honors and a Masters in Vision Science and Physiological Optics, focusing on early eye changes in prediabetes. Devoted to making a difference, Dr. Baltazar desires to cultivate enduring patient relationships in Pasadena. She prioritizes education and connection with communication in both English and Spanish. Beyond optometry, Dr. Baltazar likes to spend time with her corgi and dachshund, garden, do DIY projects, and live by her motto ‘I live to eat, not eat to live’ by exploring new recipes and dishes around the Houston area.

Certifications/Awards: Residency (Ocular Disease)—Wyoming VA Medical Center/Ferris State University. Hobbies/Interests: Traveling, gardening, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends.

Dr. Barclay was born and raised in Southwest Michigan. He attended the Michigan College of Optometry (MCO) at Ferris State University, where he earned his Bachelors of Vision Science degree in 2005. During optometry school, Dr. Barclay was an active member in student organizations. He was President of the Michigan Optometric Student Association (MOSA) in his third year of optometry school and went on a VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) trip to St. Lucia to provide free eye exams and glasses to the underserved. He graduated in 2007 with high honors from MCO and practiced in Indiana and Michigan his first four years as an Optometrist before locating to Lubbock, TX. in 2011 with his wife and son. Their son is very active in baseball and attends Friendship ISD. They also have a daughter who was born in Lubbock, TX. in 2014. In 2011, Dr. Barclay became a Board-Certified Optometrist after he successfully completed the inaugural test offered by the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Barclay is a member of the South Plains Optometric Society, American Optometric Association, and the Texas Optometric Association. Dr. Barclay specializes in Glaucoma/Therapeutic Optometry (which includes treatment for glaucoma, dry eye, eye infections and foreign body removal), Specialty Contact Lenses (including multi-focal, rigid, Keratoconus, and Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) contact lenses), Family Vision and Laser Vision Evaluations with the Laser Eye Center of Lubbock.

Professional Achievements and Associations: Southern College of Optometry Contact Lens Society member. Clinical Certifications and Specialties: TN Therapeutically certified. The reason I became an optometrist is: I became interested when I was fitted with glasses in 6th grade and then contact lenses in 9th grade. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Showing them how much better they can see with glasses or contact lenses. In my spare time, I enjoy: Swimming, working out, music, cooking.

Eyesight is one of our most precious senses, and it is my goal to help all my patients see clearly and comfortably throughout their lives.
