Undergraduate: Miami University (Oxford, OH). Optometry School: Indiana University School of Optometry. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? I like to do my part by making sure every patient leaves our office seeing as clearly as possible, has all their eye health needs met, and has each of their questions answered to the best of my ability. I provide detailed, comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, diabetic eye exams, contact lens evaluations, and urgent eye health visits. Hobbies/Interests: When I’m not seeing patients, I love to spend time with my husband and two kids, check out a local park/playground, or splash at the neighborhood pool. I enjoy working in our garden, reading, listening to podcasts, and hitting the gym.

Undergraduate Education: University of Pittsburgh. Optometry School: The Ohio State University. Certifications/Awards: Certified in Dry Eye. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? By actively improving my patients’ vision. I provide comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, diabetic eye exams, contact lens fitting, binocular visual dysfunctions, and ocular disease management. Whether it is resolving a problem or improving our sight with new glasses and contacts, I believe that when our vision improves, so does our lives! Hobbies/Interests: Rooting on the Bucs down at the Ballpark and the Steelers down in my Living Room; Sports like Dek Hockey, Spikeball, and Pickleball; Chess and some other Trading Card Games.

Dr. Jacqueline Escobar is an optometrist devoted to helping patients achieve optimal vision and eye health in a comfortable and caring environment. She has a Doctor of Optometry degree from Midwestern University - Chicago College of Optometry, where she gained the knowledge necessary to provide patients with comprehensive eye examinations and the tools to properly diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions. During her personal time, she enjoys reading, traveling, nature trails, and spending time with family, friends, and her sweet pup.

How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? I am committed to ongoing education and community service. For example, I have loved working with the See to Succeed program, which offers free comprehensive eye exams and eyewear to underprivileged students in Houston. Hobbies/Interests: Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, reading, hiking, and spending quality time with my husband, family, friends, and 3 pets.

Providing a transformational eyecare experience means addressing all the patient’s needs, visually and medically, and have them leave knowing their best interests were addressed during their visit. How are you impacting your local community? I enjoy volunteering at food banks and charity work for our local schools. Hobbies/Interests: Walking, hiking, spending time with my children and pets.

Dr. Evans graduated Magna Cum Laude from Houghton College with a B.S. in Psychology and Writing. She was accepted to a Master's Program at UCONN but decided to switch fields. She obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree from S.U.N.Y College of Optometry in 1995 with externships at Westpoint Military Academy and Castle Point V.A. Hospital. She was awarded the Frederick W. Brock Memorial Award for Outstanding Clinical Performance in Vision Therapy and the therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents Advanced Practice Certificate in 2002. With a special interest in nutrition and other healthy lifestyle practices for the eyes and body, she is delighted to bring her knowledge and experience to the patients at MyEyeDr. “I want to help your eyes see and feel great, so you can do all the things you need and love to do. Dr. Ewers is originally from Portland, Indiana. Her early interest in optometry led to two Associate of Science degrees in Optometric Technology and Opticianry at Indiana University. She continued on and received her Bachelor's degree at Indiana University, Bloomington and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the prestigious IU School of Optometry in 1995. While enrolled as a graduate student she was an Assistant Instructor for three years and Assistant Supervisor of interns and technicians in the Atwater Clinic Dispensary. Dr. Ewers was awarded Member of the Year by Alpha Phi Omega. Dr. Ewers has over 15 years in practice and 22 years in the optical field. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Indiana Optometric Association, Central Indiana Optometric Society and Sports Vision Section of the AOA. Her professional interests include medical optometric care, contact lenses and sports vision training.

Dr. Jennifer Faber is originally from Auburn, Indiana. She attended Purdue University for herr Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. During her internship year, Dr. Faber partook in extended ophthalmology training at two distinguished practices- Eye Associates of Southern Indiana and Eye Surgeons of Indiana. Dr. Faber quotes, “Being active, outdoors lovers that my family and I are, we were ecstatic about moving to not only North Carolina, but Asheville! We have always wanted to settle down in this area of the state.” Dr. Faber lives with her husband Ryan along with their two small children, Brinley and Hudson. She also adds, “In my free time, I love to be with family and friends, go camping or to the beach, go hiking, enjoy live music, or attend sporting events.”

Adjunct Professor for Clinical Practice for Indiana University School of Optometry, Southern College of Optometry and the Southern California College of Optometry 1982-1984; Clinical Certifications & Specialties: Dr. Fach has extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of inflammatory and infectious eye disease and glaucoma as well as co-management of refractive and cataract surgeries; What drives your passion for optometry? Vision is our primary sense for interacting with our world. Resolving impairments and improving performance is most satisfying. How are you helping patients live their best lives? Preserving and enhancing vision performance to allow the maximum possible enjoyment of any lifestyle and activity. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? I want my patients to leave with a significantly better understanding of what it takes to achieve vision performance that allows them to thrive. How are you impacting your local community? Dr. Fach co-founded Champions Prison Ministries in 2004 and has been in continuous service to the Texas prison system as a Bible teacher and worship leader. Hobbies/Interests: Dr. Fach is an accomplished nature photographer, bicyclist, hiker, camper and grandfather. He and his wife Christine have four grown sons and 19 grandchildren.

My family has been plagued by glaucoma but not only them. Myself included. I’ve been on drops for over 10 years. I’ll be a forever doctor and a forever patient. How are you helping patients live their best lives? I show my patients how I can improve the quality of their vision in every aspect of their lives. From the morning to the night and from distance to up close and everything in between. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? It’s special to be a part of transforming my patients eyecare experience because they place their trust and their families trust in me to take good care of them. It’s rest assured that I have their best interest as my top priority. How are you impacting your local community? I will occasionally put on screenings for local churches. Hobbies/Interests: I love God, my family, and football.

Undergraduate Education: Texas Tech University. Optometry School: University of Houston College of Optometry. How are you impacting your local community or helping your patients live their best lives? By specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases routine vision and eye health care, contact lenses, and laser refractive surgery consultation. I am also an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. And finally, I volunteer in multiple charity organizations including Relay for Life, Race for the Cure, and the American Diabetes Organization. Hobbies/Interests: Attending Texas Tech sporting events, water sports, skiing, traveling, and spending time with family.

Dr. Fardink received a degree in chemistry from Princeton University and then graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Fardink focuses on specialty contacts, including scleral lenses and corneal (rigid) gas permeable lenses. He completed an advanced rotation with honors at the Case Western Reserve University Department of Ophthalmology, where he fit specialty contact lenses onto cornea transplant patients. He also completed an ocular disease rotation at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center, where he treated glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other ocular disorders. While an optometry student, Dr. Fardink co-founded OSU’s Contact Lens Advancement Society, of which he was also president, and served as vice president of OSU’s Private Practice Club. He is a former volunteer EMT and lead guitar player for The Band Keratopathy (an all optometry rock band). He lives with his wife, Christina, and their son, Emmett.

Undergraduate Education: Ferris State University. Optometry School: Michigan College of Optometry. How are you helping patients live their best lives? I enjoy the aspect of getting to know my patients’ visual needs and then offering them solutions in eyewear options and ocular health management. Hobbies/Interests: When I am not working, I am usually at an ice arena or baseball field watching our sons play sports.

Dr. Fatima graduated with Magna Cum Laude from Benedictine University with Bachelors’ in Health Sciences. She then completed a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree with the Tomb & Key Honors Society and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society awards. Dr. Fatima became an eye doctor as she always wanted to be a healthcare professional as a child. Being a Doctor of Optometry allows her to be an essential part of her patients' healthcare team, making sure that they see better and have optimal health! Besides primary eye care, she enjoys myopia control/management, specialty contact lenses, treating eye diseases, and preventing glaucoma, among other conditions. When Dr. Fatima is not in the office, she enjoys reading, traveling, swimming, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Undergraduate Education: St. Vincent College. Optometry School: Pennsylvania College of Optometry. How are you helping your patients live their best lives? I’d like all my patients to leave the office with a pleasant experience and any eye problems solved! Hobbies/Interests: Any type of exercising and spending time with family.
