Dr. Patel graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She then received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri at St. Louis. Through her extensive training, Dr. Patel has gained expertise in contact lenses, low vision, pediatrics, and ocular diseases. Additionally, she is a member of the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, and the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association. Dr. Patel and her husband, Gopin live in Fort Mill, SC with their toddler, Niyam. When she isn’t busy helping her community achieve quality vision, she enjoys reading, shopping, and traveling.

There is so much you can learn about a person's health by examining their eyes. This has always fascinated me. How are you helping patients live their best lives? Ensuring the happiness and satisfaction of all patients. How are you impacting your local community? By helping them see their best. Professional Achievements and Associations: American Optometric Association, Indiana Optometric Association. The reason I became an optometrist is: Growing up, I was always at the eye doctor. Many times, I can relate to what my patients are going through because of my own vision history. By helping people see, I feel like I am making a difference in their lives. My favorite part of helping my patients is: I like developing lasting relationships with my patients. Some I have seen for a few years. I know their families, and they know mine as well. In my spare time, I enjoy: My husband and kids, fitness & nutrition.

By providing comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, diabetic eye exams and contact lens fitting. The reason I became an optometrist is: I enjoy making a difference in the lives of others. It is incredible that with just a pair of glasses a child’s focus and academic success can be dramatically improved. It is amazing that with a comprehensive eye exam we can detect early signs of systemic conditions and can save the lives of many. The eyes are truly a window to the health and wellbeing of a person. To be a part of this profession is truly an honor. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Being able to help them see their world more clearly with a new pair of lenses and by providing a thorough eye exam to help preserve good health and wellbeing. In my spare time, I enjoy: Exercising, traveling, and exploring different restaurants around the area.

Dr. Drshika Patel earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She graduated from Midwestern University—Chicago College of Optometry with clinical distinction and an award in Low-Vision services. She completed her ocular disease residency at the Baltimore VA Medical Center, focusing on glaucoma and retina. Outside of optometry, Dr. Patel loves to read, travel, explore new food places in the Chicagoland area, and spend time with friends and family.

Dr. Evanshi Patel earned her Honors Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto before pursuing her Doctor of Optometry degree at MCPHS University in Massachusetts. Her clinical experience includes comprehensive eye care, ocular disease management, contact lens fittings, and pediatric eye exams. Known for her compassionate approach and strong attention to detail, Dr. Patel is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best vision and overall eye health. Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling, playing sports, and spending quality time with her family. Her love for connecting with people from all walks of life is what drives her to provide exceptional care in every interaction.

Making sure each and all patient’s concerns are addressed thoroughly so they take part in their eye care. How are you impacting your local community? I’m committed to community and global outreach. Through the Onesight organization, I have been on 6 mission trips to Vietnam, China, Zambia, India, Arizona Tohonto O’odham Indian reservation, and Charlotte, NC. Hobbies/Interests: In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and young daughter, friends and family. I also love traveling overseas, trying new restaurants and live concerts.

Dr. Niddhi Patel is a compassionate and dedicated optometrist with a passion for improving the vision and quality of life of her patients. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia State University, graduating with honors, before pursuing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the esteemed Indiana University School of Optometry. Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Patel developed a strong foundation in both the science and human aspects of eye care. Her commitment to helping others is exemplified by her mission trip to Jamaica during optometry school, where she provided eye care to children in need, ensuring they could see the world more clearly. Volunteering and community service continue to be a driving force in both her personal and professional life. Dr. Patel has a special interest in specialty contact lenses, particularly due to her personal connection with her husband, who has keratoconus. This condition holds a special place in her heart, and she is dedicated to helping patients with similar challenges achieve clearer vision. She also finds great fulfillment in treating dry eye, offering customized solutions to improve patient comfort and quality of life. When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her husband, shopping for new finds, and staying active with hobbies such as playing pickleball and hiking. She also loves relaxing with a good TV show and cherishing the moments of downtime.

The reason I became an optometrist is: My passion for optometry began with a lifelong interest in healthcare and medical science, and it was further shaped by my own personal journey with vision problems. Through that experience, I came to truly appreciate how vital Vision is—it is, in many ways, our most important sense. I was drawn to optometry as a career that is both deeply rewarding and offers a meaningful balance between professional fulfillment and flexibility. The most rewarding part of my work is helping patients improve their vision and quality of life. There is nothing more fulfilling than sharing the gift of sight and enabling others to create vivid memories they can cherish forever. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my family.

Dr. Rikti Patel is a licensed optometrist who performs comprehensive eye exams and closely evaluates patients’ eye health for any ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy. She was born in India and moved to the US when she was 9 years old. She attended the University of Georgia, where she graduated with a dual degree in Biology and Psychology. She then earned a Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she completed externships at the VA clinic in Tuscaloosa, AL, with a focus on ocular disease. She also completed externships in Houston, TX, which focused on all aspects of ocular disease, including cataracts, glaucoma, and dry eye. ​She has been practicing for 15 years, and she is a passionate eye doctor who finds her profession to be rewarding. Dr. Rikti Patel has a beautiful family with two children and is a local to the Buford area. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, music, and zumba.
